WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Dec. 1, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Dale Hewett is pleased to announce the trial being conducted on his patent-pending sleep aid is coming along great. The preliminary data from the first phase of this trial shows that roughly 90% of users are feeling the effects from this completely natural sleep aid. It seems that people may, finally, be able to ditch extreme pharmaceutical sleep aids that come with harsh side effects. In April of 2019, the FDA issued even more warnings against popular pharmaceutical companies, due to a side-effect causing extreme daytime drowsiness. According to the FDA, in 20 of these cases from 2019, behaviors resulting from drowsiness ended up being fatal. The new warnings from the FDA will come in the form of new warning labels issued on all prescription containers.

"Sleep aids can be effective without having severe side effects," says Hewett. "Most people prefer a natural approach to medication these days, but they also think that a natural approach might not be as effective as a pharmaceutical drug approach. This is not the case with 'sleep' – a revolutionary new sleep aid that mixes small amounts of melatonin with cannabinoids such as CBD, CBN, CBG, and CBC." "If I can get even a fraction of people off of their extreme sleep aids or night-time pain killers, lives will be saved - plain and simple," claims Hewett.

"Certain cannabinoids help people achieve a deeper sleep, but do a poor job at telling the body 'Hey! It's time to go to bed!' Melatonin is a natural hormone that our bodies produce, and it basically tells our brain that it is time for bed."

Hewett explains CBD alone does a rather poor job at helping people sleep. People with minor sleep issues may experience good results with only CBD, but Hewett is out to develop a powerful, natural sleep aid that can take the place of current pharmaceutical sleep aids.

Many major drug companies are keeping a close eye on this sleep aid. Hewett started developing this combination years ago, after experiencing a spinal cord injury during a training exercise while on Active Duty in the US Army. He saw, first-hand, the implications of taking extreme medications. While some of these medications do, in fact, help the patient, they often come with brutal side effects.

Currently, the only company with licensed access to this aid is New Phase Blends, a company owned by Dale Hewett.
