'significant progress' with the promise to drill in November 2012. I'm still waiting. I've come to the conclusion that extracting money from punters, including instii's, is a lot easier than getting oil out of the ground.....the company are making a good living exploiting the 'easy bit'.....producing oil out of the ground is, if you're lucky, just a bonus.......a little bit like buying an srsp lottery ticket. |

The share price is dictated by the BOD....If Angola has failed, those already bought at 2p and 'ITK', would, like us, have difficulty in selling and now be 'locked in'. To maintain the 2p status, a positive outcome on COSMOS would be required to maintain the current 2p share price The JP site serves one purpose and one purpose only...The target selling price of shares issued by the BOD. If the bod 'waffle' and state that Angola is 'still ongoing'...then they should admit failure and 2p Price is not justified....and should be dropped. |

An explanation ...Forward selling of placing shares is happening 24/7 in AIM/small cap stocks from the day authority is granted to issue equity at the GM. That's the reason why shares drop on supposed good news. Placees, having already gained through entry at low-cost mates rates, profit further by selling into pre-news share price strength. The entire AIM market rests on companies being able to get away with placings without the knowledge of retail investors beforehand. If placings were telegraphed to PIs the entire AIM market would collapse, everybody would simply head for the exit causing the price to collapse prior to the placing. Therefore 99.99% of the time one can only guess at a placing. Because of the secret nature of placings and their importance for a company's survival sometimes not even the directors will know of a placing until the Nomad informs them of X million/billion shares forward sold into the market. It is the Nomad's responsibility to ensure the company is properly capitalised through the issuance of equity, not the directors. That's what they pay the Nomads for. |

Posted at 12/8/2024 10:08 by astralvision IG Index spread betJust a heads up for anyone else that holds Tende Energy via IG Index s/bet.(Vast majority of mine held in nominee account)I noticed on the IG statement that the level (value) per share had changed from about 0.4p, which was the share price at suspension, to 0.0001p.With the shares delisted, it's a notional value, but the 0.4p is used to calculate margin, which is 100% on Tende, and also used in the quarterly roll over calculations.IG assure me the shares will be rolled over as normal, I'm assuming here a listing is still yonks away. I guess the margin requirement will be bog all. Hopefully they won't skin us on roll over charges.They did tell me the shares are trading at 2p on JPJ and I could put a request to sell into IG. Hmmm, not sure if that would work! Still, that sounds a little better than the 0.4p they offered me to close the shares out last time I spoke to them.I'm suspicious of the reason for the change, but all seems to be ok. See what happens next time the shares are rolled over. |
