22/9/2018 14:13 | Redstone Note it doesn't say 100 tonnes and 20,000 tonnes shortly. So I already suspect they have something genuine. So many go into these graphene companies completely blind, you really do need to know the difference and it makes spotting BS easy. VRS at any time they wish could produce 100's of tonnes of what others call graphene but it doesn't have all the gains that few layer graphene brings, it's graphite. | ![]() superg1

22/9/2018 14:09 | VRS is a company with so much activity and news that the best solution is to buy and hold. Playing with gaining a few pennies here and there could result in a painful punishment. Either by getting burnt or by paying much more to own shares. | ![]() fuji99

22/9/2018 13:58 | Spanish is spoken in several parts of the world - either as the main language or as one that is quite readily understood. 23% of the USA population speak Spanish. This deal potentially opens doors in places other than Spain. From that wiki page: Spanish is the most studied foreign language in United States schools and is spoken as a native tongue by 41 million people, plus an additional 11 million fluent second-language speakers.[28] Though not official, Spanish has a special status for education in the U.S. state of New Mexico. [29] With over 50 million native speakers and second language speakers, the United States now has the second largest Spanish-speaking population in the world after Mexico.[30] Spanish is increasingly used alongside English nationwide in business and politics. | ![]() grabster

22/9/2018 13:53 | I am curious why the Spanish company didn't simply agree to receive VRS shares for their sale of the majority. Would have saved VRS the hassle of PBid and presumably would give the vendors substantial potential upside. It's what Cambridge Graphene and 2D did?Perhaps £2.9m in cash was too attractive for them and maybe there were tax reasons in Spain? I suppose they still have their minority interest and that is enough risk capital for the vendors who now have done nice cash in the bank. | ![]() bones

22/9/2018 13:29 | Graphene info announced in January that Gnanomat had opened a pilot plant producing up to 100 kg of product (hybrid of GNP = Nanene? and metallic oxides) a year.So from Friday's RNS it reads that VRS would use some of the proceeds of the funding to scale up this pilot plant. So what level of scale up are we looking at here and what loading of Nanene would be used? Hopefully the Podcast may give an idea of scale or a further announcement on conclusion of the deal.Interesting times ahead if the initial pilot plant has proven itself and VRS is coming in to bring to commercial reality. | ![]() redstone64

22/9/2018 13:21 | People are reading between the lines here and are realising that this is a good long term move by VRS and will lead to increased share price through time. Plenty waiting in the wings (including me) for any sign of potential share price weakness which I would add will either be short lived or won't happen, too many ppl thinking the same thing, The PB take up tells you all you need to know..
