22/9/2018 16:37 | Ohh and I didn’t mention China. Lol. | graphite bot
22/9/2018 16:36 | "This cash is for a very specific reason, purchase of a very interesting revolutionary supercap company based in Europe giving us a foothold post brexit, and a good potential customer for our nanene, and partner to our collaboration partner. 3 sides of a triangle complete." | ellissj
22/9/2018 16:35 | car crash at it again. You are talking To the converted most of us on here have made a small fortune with Versarien. Neill spent all night last night answering our questions. We have government working alongside us striving to make Vrs a world leader. We will be the first Graphene manufacturer with iso.we have collaborations with multi billion global companies. There will be a manufacturing facility in Wales . Matt walker is here to Help create jobs and improve The British economy. So you are kinda wasting your time . I personally couldn’t give a flying fajita wether you are short or long. We have watched others burn. You will just be another to add to the list. I was going to say good luck. But thought better of it. | graphite bot
22/9/2018 16:35 | So, now we know why NR suddenly dropped all his rugby balls and jetted off to Spain recently to squeeze in a meeting. Well, Friday's announcement has certainly caught the majority off-guard (most long-term holders, apparently pleasantly and complacently so :-)). At last! - good to have something decisively concrete to speculate on... certainly beats trying to fathom all those cryptic and often decontextualized Twitter quotes! | senden11
22/9/2018 16:33 | Indeed bootie. Is there a leftfield announcement re 'triangle' squared here ? Best ellis. | ellissj
22/9/2018 16:31 | Edit Bootie beat me to it! | nemo19
22/9/2018 16:30 | Compoundup,Am I missing something here with zapandgo link? When NR was asked if it was a similar company to zapandgo, he said nothing like them. | bootie64
22/9/2018 16:21 | LuckyOrange a part of Acorn Computers went on to become Arm Holdings. Hardly busted, i was invested. | john henry
22/9/2018 16:00 | The Company is currently in advanced negotiations with Gnanomat S.L., a Spanish based company capable of utilising Versarien's graphene products in an environmentally friendly, scalable production process for energy storage devices that offers high power density, almost instant recharging and very long lifetimes for use in electrical vehicles and portable electronics products. If successfully concluded, Versarien will own a majority stake in that company and provide funding for scale up of a pilot plant. It will provide a centre of excellence for energy in Europe negotiations is not a sign`d deal, funding for scale up of a pilot plant. if other collaborations are sign`d off, further funding, just a thought !!!! | dreamtwister
22/9/2018 15:53 | loving this share | haz101
22/9/2018 15:53 | The Gnanomat deal is astonishing. Adding 2 and 2 with regard to completing the triangle that Neill was referring to, I reckon this has a lot to do with Zap+Go. Coupled with what VRS have been doing at UoC, where we saw on the investors day evidence of active research into batteries (among the various other things in the labs). Then there's the WMG link, particularly on battery technology. So Neill is bringing on board a synergy-providing company that is embarking on commercial activity with industry partners in the same way we are for £2.9m - just 1% of the market's valuation of VRS. That's a steal. | compoundup
22/9/2018 15:47 | Was it the head of AIM that NR had a meeting with earlier this year?I wonder if the PB idea as an alternative for raising funds was a result of that meeting. | bootie64
22/9/2018 15:44 | At opening bell on Monday morning do we call this "The BIG RAINBOW SQUEEZE". The bear closing lot V the bullish ones who seem to be buyers because they did not get shares in the PB offering...........w There seems to be a great deal of new shareholders who really need to know how VRS works and to understand just what is going to happen sooner rather than later. For me who has been in since November 2017 it has been the most interesting and profitable investment since I started investing in 1959. I am not that keen on PB but it has its position and I fully understand all those who complain that they were unable to get any shares. SO Monday..........open lower that say 175p+ - good two way trade and then as more information is released on the deal and the AGM in full force on Tuesday then the MM make it £2 by the end of next week. I am away but I wish all those who attend the AGM to press the Management for a full explanation on the reasons why they did what they have just done.........a really interesting commercial and political deal. But are there any orders on their way??????? | anley
22/9/2018 15:43 | Reading some of the posted links I repeatedly see Horizon2020 mentionedAs a EU led nation state government sponsored research program this touches many key industrialisation area. EV's amongst many othersTo my thinking, with inside track knowledge from UKgov MW the potential list of commercialisation or acquisition opportunities might be coming from one or many of these 2020 cutting edge funded companies across EU member statesAwesome thought | richafling
22/9/2018 15:31 | "poor old diane - short and hurting bad" Club Sandwich This is what you said. I am quids in fella. How am I hurting bad ??????? LOL did I say collapse to 30p on Monday ? No I didn't The shares will slump on monday to close to the placing price. The true value here though long term s 30p | dianecarberry
22/9/2018 15:29 | What we are seeing in action here folks is our company flexing its muscles, put that in your pipe and smoke it shorters! | haz101
22/9/2018 15:28 | the agm spin backed by the podcast (pay to ramp) should hike up the share price volume, but the half yearly intrims will be deafening. | dreamtwister
22/9/2018 15:23 | Indeed vas, if the calibre of personnel matches the claims and ambitions of the company, it breeds confidence. Which is why neill has carefully been adding the right people to vrs. Often leaders in their fields eg US Iso expert and materials guy martin kemp. Plus stephen hodge. Sought after dealsmaker david kerr etc. Now the govt secondees. And all the team at vrs. Success breeds success and attracts the best fueling investor confidence. Its these conditions that create the potential for exponential growth. Aimo. Best ellis | ellissj
22/9/2018 15:21 | HydraRedoxFOR THE RENEWABLE SECTORClean, efficient and with generation cost lower than diesel, renewable energy offers a real answer to today's energy crisis. Intermittency however still poses a challenge with excess supply being wasted and undersupply facing penalties.HydraRedox | affc21
22/9/2018 15:21 | I think you'll find ARM holdings were a subsidiary of Acorn Computers, so mighty oaks do grow from acorns! | cheek212
22/9/2018 15:19 | Some of Acorns subsidaries lived on through thier RISC operating system as ARM computers who did quite well. and Oak is indeed Neill's favourite tree. | vitrec |
