First up someone posted that the 160p drop was to get this.

The price that determined the discount was yesterdays closing price not 160p

"at an issue price of 145 pence per New Ordinary Share (the "Issue Price"), being a discount of 18 per cent to the closing mid-price on 21 September 2018."

The closing price was 177.5 x .18 is 32p so take that off and you get to the 145p.

So CLEARLY this has not been the norm and the dodgy lot have not had material control or enough notice of it.

I was at golf, mentioned it earlier. While on the course I got a text message. It said, "something odd going on some shorts, suddenly increased this afternoon"

When we say increased that means some extra clients went short.

My first thought is, inside info guys perhaps nomad connected in for a quick buck.

Back to the other part re heard hoping for a fund raise Oct/Nov. The reins to control that by the corrupt lot have been tossed out of the window. Perhaps that's why Kempster has said well done (that's how I took it).

NR and co have somehow beat the market in this fund raise and it's certainly not part of the shorting plan.

As for flippers they won't get their shares for a while for some it may take weeks.

So flipping is not as easy as some think.

The mild irritant is the insider bits yesterday afternoon maybe an attempt to get the price down too. Could have been market makers going short too in knowledge.

BUT for the few that did their trades will be recorded and their identities which is not a difficult task to deal with it's just whether anyone can be bothered to do it. ;-)

While I thought a retrace was due and 160 was coming I heavily suspect it was now tainted by an attempt somewhere to get the price down.

Unlucky boys it was a epic fail. No big screwing the share price for fund discount and much lower prices for the exit.

I hope VRS have it within their remit to accept more cash and leave the shorters floundering in the market on a plan gone wrong. Don't forget some have been short at 70p.

Eye on the squirrel. I thought the funds and market would smash the price down when they needed funds, so did bears.

Unbelievable imo they VRS have managed to get a placing away with such small dilution at 145p. Hell fire it only got to that price very recently.

That sounds like a very exciting company.

So spin through old bits which I'll piece together in a post now. There is a collection of battery info re VRS, Cambridge WMG Zap and go, Chinese guys (I think) and so on.

The Chinese expansion is also expected to be fully funded and bear fruits in the form of a lump sum to improve our balance sheet imo (holding company).

Rheumking - where did it say there was a 2k limit on shares? I put in for 10k with no problem, whether I get them or not is a different matter..(I won't be flipping them either)

"I fully expect further raisings if we need to put down plants or make further acquisitions."

of course in an ideal world the 20+ (or however many) collabs would start bearing fruit, placing orders and generating significant revenues...

Run I had similar problems
Put through a buy of £10k then £5k at five pm but neither were accepted and I am already subscribed to primary bid so was smooth process.
Rang my bank and it was no problem there end so it was all down to PrimaryBid. If there was a limit of £2000 to purchase they should have stated that as it was like you I was just locked out and unable to take advantage

1. Nanene in li ion batteries
2. Nanene in zap n go's carbon ion batteries.
3. Graphink in printed batteries on wearables iot.

Have i missed any ? Looks like we have a good offering in next gen battery tech. Good positioning neill and co at leading edge imo. Best ellis.

1 & 3 part of this gnano deal. Of course, our sports apparel major would be v happy with 3 too !

No complaints from me. This displays a massive statement of intent by the company and whatever kind of Brexit transpires, a solid base in Europe should constitute a very shrewd business move indeed. Usually, such rapid international expansion does not come cheaply, but hopefully, this minor dilution securing a majority shareholding in an existing, fellow-innovative company will ramp up the VRS global disruptive profile, as well as the mid to long term revenues. Also, eco, superfast charging battery technology, particularly in cars, has to still be one of the hottest topics in town at the moment and we are positioning ourselves to be a leading protagonist in the field. Very exciting times!

Have VRS collaborated with Gnanomat? How do they know that Nanene is suitable to use in their processes?

Personally I think anyone short is going to get mashed against the wall Monday morning as anyone who missed out on PB will be trying to buy in on whatever opening drop there is.

Will sit back and watch the show...

Just a word of warning to people buying last night via Primary Bid; when I bought last time my bank (HSBC Invest direct) required me to fill in a share transfer form before they accepted the new shares... took over 2 weeks as well!

Fully agree diversification,I think this will be looked back on as a great move by NR and the team. I wonder if news is not yet over before the AGM too

Agame

Spot on re this

the offer is closed, i.e. they've raised all the money they sought to raise. Don't worry about dodgy bucket shops - they won't be getting much, if any. They'll be scaled out, this is what the team did last time. PIs will get most of this raise.

Lucky it took about 5 weeks before my shares came through to my account when I got some, forms have to be completed both ends. So the flipper theory by some is flawed. The speed it moves can be influenced by whoever you have accounts with.

JH

You seem a little vexed, you trade and clearly bought recently positing that it's off to £2 plus. Had you not been in you would have loved the news imo.

NR now inherits additional expertise, protects and secured new IP, has access to Europe and it’s funding all for what seems like a couple of quid compared to its market cap. We could even take part in the fund raising.

As I said last night, the only people frustrated on social media or here were the shorters, traders and those that had no spare cash.

Looking forward to further updates on this and others bits next week.

Exciting

In nov 17 primary bid offered vrs shares at 18p the share has 10 folded since then , the company is in a much better position and theres no reason why this cannot do the same in the next 12 months so that means they could be £14 in 12 months or even higher .... just a thought

Let’s get the facts straight, NR has always denied that they needed to raise money for operational expenses, UNLESS, a good opportunity came about for expansion. (FACT)

He could of gone straight to II’s like SAVP and f’ked all the shareholders, but has decided to go to Primary Bid.

Fact of the matter is, this news isn’t what got NR excited last week and wasn’t related to his trip to Wales, according to his Tweet. The pipeline of news is significant and as soon as the ball starts to roll it will go faster and faster.

If it wasn’t for the fact that I am going to the races today, then watching my football team on TV followed by the boxing (what a day), I would be wishing for Monday.

From Gnanomat website

Strategic partner:

We construct solid B2B collaborations to understand our customer pains and design reliable and viable solutions for them. We are willing to strength our value chain with relevant and meaning partners (raw material providers, application manufacturers) through joint-ventures, long term collaborations, etc.

I believe that this deal with Gnanomat is brilliant news. Versarien Nanene being used with Gnanomat battery storage technology will be an irresistible combination. Access to EEC grant funding and no matter what happens with Brexit, Versarien will be firmly established within the EEC. If there are still doubters about Versarien becoming a Unicorn in the not too distant future then nothing will be able to persuade them. Well done to NR and his amazing team at Versarien.
