24/5/2022 20:19 | jan-mar. Seems to have some legs to this story. Wonder if Carnival are thinking of swapping Seabourn for a cancellation of some of their debt pile with the Wealth Fund. | grahamburn

24/5/2022 19:30 | BRIEF Carnival In Discussions To Sell Seabourn Brand To The Saudi Sovereign Wealth Fund | jan-mar
24/5/2022 19:15 | I don't agree the price decline in Carnival is due to Covid, all cruise lines have been hammered this week. The scare story from the BOFA indicating they thought the whole cruising industry could need refinancing had caused this latest drop. I do agree the whole industry needs to move on from Covid | jan-mar
24/5/2022 19:07 | The price is down due to a covid outbreak on the QE. It's at class 2, whatever that means. A notifiable outbreak, with quite a few with symptoms. A bit surprising, most cases on other boats are asymptomatic and only discovered by random testing on board (why they are still testing i have no idea). Maybe the qe average age is higher than the average ccl brand. Big overreaction imv. As to prices - i posted last week about a qv norway and iceland cruise which we were on a waiting list for at one price, and it was remarketed at twice that price. They are obviously trying to move cunard into a higher price bracket - and as for the asking prices for the new Queen Anne - well i'll forget about that until the rices drop. | pierre oreilly
24/5/2022 18:55 | its hit $11.60 in US trading that around 850p I think. Possibly it bounces in US trading this evening and we don't see 850p tomorrow. DOW was down 500 pts at low now only down 135. but no bounce in CCL share price $11.68 wtf 9c off the lows. | technowiz
24/5/2022 18:43 | Who knows what the reason is for this fall in price, but all cruise lines are getting hammered, RC down 9 percent Norwegian down 9 percent. I'm sitting tight | jan-mar
24/5/2022 18:38 | loganair I have for a long time thought that the price of cabins covers the cost to the company of the cruise, so if they need to raise say £4m once that has been raised from cabin sales then any cabins sold after that can be sold very cheaply as that money is pure profit and then they have the added bonus of the onboard spend that the extra passengers spend. If any one knows any different I would be interested to know. Sam | sambuca
24/5/2022 18:33 | i thought the share price would be stable today maybe even get a rise how wrong I am! its down 11% in US trading. might see mid £8s tomorrow hopefully no lower! | technowiz
