Could have been, but the share price is mirroring Walk Street moving on very low volumes, even though there are slightly more buys than sells

Potential short term double bottom at 11 but the 3 year chart increasingly looks like the entire move up from the covid low could have been one big dead cat bounce

Had been wondering why IAG had been outperforming this recently but if there was any doubt about market scepticism about travel shares that was confirmed today with the harsh reaction to their results. It would seem green shoots are not enough when you take into account debts accrued during the pandemic and geopolitical concerns. Better hope for stellar results here going forward

I agree, it could well be the holiday people turn to, they don't have the hassle of airports to worry about

Well I tried to book up the Queen Vic around Iceland and the fjords for this summer and it's currently fully booked so on a waiting list. Bummer. The agent didnt know whether it's fully fully booked or just reached a certain target percentage and reporting fully booked, or even some other reason.I don't think demand is a problem with cruising these days.

PanNo, i prefer to buy what i need on P&0, although have gotten it with likes of princess whose rooms are dearer and thus the drinks package can be had for about £10-15 as part of the wifi/drinks/tips £30 ppd package, every day i felt like i was robbing them...Also my partner not a big drinker, so £80 purely on drinks is a bit of a target every day to break even - even on sea days that is a bit of a challenge, this cruise has nine shore days where we would drink even less on boardwe did however get the unlimited soft drinks package, which is only £8 ppd and not advertised anywhere off ship

SardineHave only been on board a couple of days, but finding breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea in any of the three main dining rooms highly preferable to the car crash of the buffet...Lunch in the mdrs is fantastic.Havent been on aurora - booked on arcadia for v late october, felt the layout of oceana and oriana much better than the newer rack em high ships, have only been cruising about 6 years, but have seen big changes in that time - and feel like i have missed out on the older ships which are slowly being replaced...Best

Pan,

I will add. Recommend booking a rear balcony cabin on decks 11 or 12. That is so you can use the rear elevators which take you to where you want to be 90% of the time, namely the restaurants and the buffet. Otherwise you will end up with a long walk. You also have direct access from your cabin via the corridor outside your cabin to the pool deck area which is at the stern of the ship. Its really nice here and I spent a lot of my holiday in this area as its quieter. It's also handy for access to the buffet for a second breakfast mid morning. The deck to advoid I think is deck 9. Hope this helps. S PS. I must agree with what Stan says above. Favourite ship is the Aurora. Oh and that great bar at the top of the stern is I think on deck 19. Amazing when going through the Gibraltar straights at night.
