Thyssenkrupp AG (TKA.XE) said Friday it plans to name Johannes Dietsch as the new chief financial officer of the company.

Mr. Dietsch, a former CFO of Bayer AG (BAYN.XE), will be offered a 3-year contract and will assume his role in February, the company said.

Thyssenkrupp's CFO role was previously held by Guido Kerkhoff until he was made chief executive in the summer.
