15/1/2020 13:12 | The only thing I know is that I feel sympathy for those posting on lse, and that the endgame is a railway for the tourism industry, and not a salty rocks mine. But that’s just me and my bonkers opinions and conspiracy theories | ![]() kreature

15/1/2020 10:23 | "If one wants to retain some exposure to this project is the right way to do it to sell now and reinvest proceeds in AA?" (AAL)It's the only way to do it. But I'd wait until after deal is done, bid may not complete, many do not. | graham2405

14/1/2020 16:08 | If the offer is a NO - which I doubt very much. Alternative is pre-pack Admin where ORDS get NADA. If no other BIDS from elsewhere of course. Yes AA could up their offer but is more likely to reduce IMO. Still think ORDS will get 5.5 pence though. Some commentators say AA is overpaying some not - but in the circumstances SXX are in with the debacle of stage 2 financing - this is a lifeline to LTH to salvage 5.5 pence cash. If they had handled stage 2 properly there perhaps would have been a chance for a fund raise/RI at much higher levels. Now past history of course. | ![]() mattab
14/1/2020 15:39 | Is it just me but why not say no to this chancer offer. Boom or bust time is with us and I for one am prepared to take the loss.I am hoping for a much better than this offer. It really comes down to getting the loans which is a big ask, but the offer is so undervaluing the opportunity that I think it is worth holding out. | ![]() our haven
14/1/2020 10:47 | Very good. A foam mattress to sleep off that Sirius hangover? They are pricey though..... | ![]() the millipede
13/1/2020 19:17 | Got to be something in the hat to lift the share price a bit higher?...an Edison note forecasting say 40p a share perhaps? Or a definite 7.5p non-binding counter offer perhaps? I would have thought there would need to be a placing fairly soon after though. | ![]() kreature
13/1/2020 18:56 | I want to no .. why they didn't come in from the coast ? How much easier would that of been. | ![]() amaretto1
13/1/2020 18:47 | Not really kreature, its just another bit of the explanation of my view that other entities will not create a bidding war here - which is the hope that I believe many holders are clinging to. Imo, the project will be feasible despite many potential pitfalls, and the bid will go through at the 5.5p probably, but not for certain. | ![]() muckshifter
13/1/2020 18:45 | What I cannot understand from this entire fiasco (for want of a better word) is why these idiots didn't first sink the shaft before burning all the money on a stupid tunnel. They could have at least lifted 50 lorry loads of Polyhalite to the surface daily and achieved some revenue. Could this not have derisked the project ? I know they cannot transport unlimited amounts of product over ground but surely if the main shaft was sunk, we would have something to show for it?But no, they decided to go Monte Carlo or bust. Am I missing something by not knowing anything about mining ? | ![]() wheeze
13/1/2020 16:20 | Yes really sad about SXX but hey ho guys another London listed potash company namely EML looking really rather good again today! Emmerson PLC [LSE:EML] - Moroccan Potash Development Company Reminder from most recent Shard research note: Valuation implications. Until further clarity emerges on the likely SOP development plan, we retain our current estimate of intrinsic fair value of 14.5p/sh. Nevertheless, to demonstrate the potential impact, incorporating SOP would increase our unrisked NAV by 50% to $507m (P/NAV of 0.05x) and on a risked basis this would increase our risked NAV to £149m or 20p/sh, a P/NAV of 0.18x. This is of course PRE DFS. | cpap man |
