17/2/2020 09:43 | They won’t have to listen and they won’t listen - the Board will now want Anglo as it is security for the whole project and no doubt they will be handsomely rewarded over time. The only losers are the shareholders many of whom are small and ill informed who ploughed money into SXX on a wing and a prayer, presumably hoping for big returns - a classic example of greed “caveat emptor” | ![]() bunti1

16/2/2020 08:22 | Stop clutching at staws, the present deal WILL go through, there would have been plenty of pi's who made money trading these shares over the company's existence, just like other companies that are listed, people pays their money and takes their chances... And the moral being .. Never fall in love with a share. | ![]() grannyboy
16/2/2020 07:39 | Your chance to help... If it can be demonstrated to Sirius Minerals that the $600m could be raised they will have to listen. We are talking to the institutional share holders but need to understand the private investor interest in raising the $600m. There is a dedicated web site and brief survey here: hxxp://www.fundsiriu Please take a look, take the survey and spread the word. The more interest there is the more chance of a positive outcome. | maxdoom

15/2/2020 12:40 | Anyone wanting to vote yes can just sell now and be done. And let this who want to cause problems for the bod go right ahead and vote no. Why anyone is voting yes just to get the exact same of what they can get on the open market are complicit with thoe bod and approve of all their miss representations and lies. Just sell now and go, let the vengeful have their moment. It makes zero sense to hold on, vote yes for the 5.5 offer to go through when you can crystallise that loss now. | pazzuzu
15/2/2020 12:33 | If enough small investors vote no, then the whole project could be dead with huge costs in lost jobs and lost opportunities in a region that so needs this project to succeed. There’s also a chance that by voting no investors will get nothing instead of 5.5p and Anglo American then getting Sirius at less cost to them. Investors who believed the hype were so misguided. The shares were very high risk until funding successful. They will be equally misguided if they vote no now and end up with nothing at all. That unfortunately is their blunt choice. | ![]() kenmitch

14/2/2020 22:57 | We seem to have many shareholders who feel that the company has been less than truthful about the ability of the company to raise finance. And yet they believe the company financial projections of poly4 sale price/volumes/ NPV and it is required by the worlds fertiliser industry. It's always been pie in the sky. The original plan to process polyhalite into sulphate of potash would have worked if it did not add so much extra to the capital requirements. I doubt whether AAL will end up following the current plan for this mine | ![]() clotted cream

14/2/2020 12:57 | Not just 5.5 pence cash to ORDS - are also taking on the liabilities and royalty commitments probably paying upwards of 9 pence plus in effect. A lifeline and despite LTH massive paper losses for many. it is indeed something back. Perhaps AAL are better buying out of pre-pack Admin for their shareholders. Never held - but followed this massively overvalued in the past IMO | ![]() mattab |
