13/1/2020 16:10 | Terrible giving away this asset at this price. It could have been Such an accolade for Britain; provided loads of jobs, could have been exported round the world. I feel sorry for management. They jumped through hoops for the National Parks and then no one would give them the money to follow it through. | hazl
13/1/2020 11:57 | Would be nice if a mate could start a bidding-war. It’s getting a bit boring now. | kreature
13/1/2020 11:40 | Meanwhile the TBM keeps chugging forward at 30 meters a day. 5.5, or a mega placing, it just doesn’t care. | kreature
13/1/2020 11:18 | As things stand, Sirius is a completely inappropriate investment for the government because of the significant risk of outright failure. As even CF has acknowledged, if they can get the mine built, and produce polyhalite, and this starts to look a bit more like an infrastructure investment rather than a speculative mining punt, then maybe a taxpayer guarantee might be forthcoming. But right now, forget it. | the millipede
13/1/2020 10:46 | If the UK government or Chinese had no interest in supporting / rescuing the company why did Theresa May take them with her on a trade mission to a China a couple of years ago? | bendaddy
13/1/2020 10:33 | I see there’s a proposed bid of 5.5p To my detractors (you know who you are) Just check my post on Dec the 5th!! John Carla any thoughts? | dp1umb
13/1/2020 10:12 | BAOBAB 5 years ago. I remember it well. Taken over by the same people providing funding and taken over at some 3.5p. They had huge Proven Iron Ore resources. This shoudlnt have failed. This should have been a success but I imagine the powers that be now have very good jobs within AA and will be well looked after for many years to come. Feel very sorry for those who were stuck in this at 20p+ | 2phildove
13/1/2020 10:11 | Morning everyone been away for while what’s occurring here then? | dp1umb
12/1/2020 22:37 | 9th Jan. IG interview with SPAngel - a great deal for shareholders apparently: 9th Jan. Veloso's take on deal and on Polyhalite. | kreature
12/1/2020 16:03 | Yeah plan all along. Funnily enough my tweet which got me blcoked by sirius about 2 years ago was accusing them of being a financial scam. | pazzuzu
12/1/2020 15:28 | seems like a perfectly executed plan if the previous posts regarding AA and the personal connections. Split raising funds into tranches, raise billions on tranche 1 and get most of the mine done, run into issues with tranche 2 then AA take over. | ekuuleus

12/1/2020 15:18 | What's the top 3 to 5 lessons to be learned from SXX? | sao1
12/1/2020 15:12 | Project nowhere near completion , no finance , no income.... ermmmm | kennyp52
12/1/2020 13:09 | A lot of fundamental red flags here. Techs are based really on 94% general public ownership and a bit of inside dealing. Zero fund interest here. Cant find any reason to buy it. Sell it to me bud. Whats the interest here? Inside dealing? Its pretty high debt with forecasted earnings over the next few years, very low Cant see the buy, but not very deep research. Got something on it? | sentimentrules
12/1/2020 12:46 | It is just as likely that the personal connections between Sirius and AA are producing a better outcome for shareholders than would otherwise be possible. I really do think it is time for all the small private investors to realise that paying anything above 5.5p for these shares was nothing but an error of judgement, the greater the price you paid the greater the mistake. What is more the stock market has become the mine's biggest problem so it is no wonder Fraser wants to get off it! If shareholders reject this offer the company won't go bust but the mine almost certainly will go onto some kind of care and maintenance programme, meaning the share price will tank still further, making funds even harder to raise. A vicious downward cycle that simply would not exist as a private enterprise, or as part of AA. The main risk for holders here has always been raising the debt finance and Sirius failed. That is the end of the story really. Accept the losses, learn lessons and move on. | the millipede
12/1/2020 12:29 | I noticed a connection Paz but was too polite to mention as people get upset here. Eg Personally I’m just waiting to see if that’s ‘ploy’ as in subway-service, or ‘poly’ as in a many salts fertiliser? You just can’t say that there will never be a mine on this bb. | kreature
12/1/2020 11:26 | Keeps selling off at 2019 average buy price by volume - 3.92p-4.00p However it does look interesting technically..now trading above 2020 average of 3.75 On the face of it (20 second glance) - 4.05 close or above it would be tempting. Shall dig more cheers | sentimentrules
12/1/2020 11:20 | Post the SXX take over by Anglo perhaps take a look at EML? Emmerson PLC [LSE:EML] - Moroccan Potash Development Company Reminder from most recent Shard research note: Valuation implications. Until further clarity emerges on the likely SOP development plan, we retain our current estimate of intrinsic fair value of 14.5p/sh. Nevertheless, to demonstrate the potential impact, incorporating SOP would increase our unrisked NAV by 50% to $507m (P/NAV of 0.05x) and on a risked basis this would increase our risked NAV to £149m or 20p/sh, a P/NAV of 0.18x. This is of course PRE DFS. | cpap man |
