LONDON (AFX) - Seven Arts Pictures attracted early support, rising 2-1/2
pence to 20-1/2 in response to the agreement with New Line Home Entertainment, a
division of New Line Cinema, a unit of Time Warner, for the distribution in the
US and Canada of "Popstar," a feature motion picture in the Seven Arts library,
produced by TAG Entertainment.
Meanwhile, the Seven Arts board estimates that in the six months to 31 March
2005, following the reverse takeover of Cabouchon, the Group recorded sales of
around 1.5 mln stg.
In the current full financial year to 31 March 2006, the board
anticipates that revenues for that period will be in the region of 8.8 mln stg,
which would be a significant uplift on previous performance.
