What I am pretty sure will happen is all will be sold to wyloo and Shaun day will get a nice little job there. In the meantime the PI are being rinsed out so they can’t block a takeover/sale. It’s all pretty text book. Shaun day will want a capital event and then a Cushdee little number in the wyloo newco. All paid for by the GGP bag holders.

Operations are temporarily suspended at Telfer as further work is completed to remediate the safe operation of the storage facilities. This is good for Telfers new owner as they are putting the mine and infrastructure safe before a takeover. Also, the more delays with tools downed the longer the life mine when we go mining

Tommy P says to investors and shareholders, that smiling Shaun Day ain't so bad. We know Telfer is at end of life mine and its going to cost us an eye-watering cost to decommission, redundancies, you name it. We at the board have been in negotiations with the world class board on board at Greatland Gold and we feel it is in shareholders interests for Greatland Gold to takeover Telfers liabilities and forthcoming abandonment costs. The non productive open pit to be. Hands up who wants Telfer? Hands up who wants our 70% of Havieron?

No doubt the lower aquifer is adding to delays but nothing that can't be addressed. Just needs careful planning and execution. Re-Telfer. If GGP become the new owners and if gold keeps going up then this increases the mines life as the lower grade ore is still profitable. So if we do takeover it gives us more time until we reach the high grade ore at Havieron. That's when serious cash flow starts to come in. We become an instant mining company if we take over Telfer and we can pay the interest just from Telfer. I'm wondering if Shaun and his team can strike a deal where we pay Newmont interest for the first few years and when cash positive we pay the remaining balance on whatever that amount will be? So many options. Exciting

Rio must have an interest in the takeover of the 70% of Havieron and Telfer. Surely they are to big an outfit not to be in the running? Come on Shaun, show them what you're made of, show them we can do this, we always knew this 🚀

The timing of the cross listing on the ASX financially is pivotal to Greatland's ambition, mentioned so many times by Shaun Day, to become a mid tier miner. Yet again I point out the obvious, why would Shaun put together this management team just to run a junior explorer. It's ridiculous to think, IMHO, that they'd allow Havieron to be sold out to say Rio when Rio doesn't even mine gold, anywhere, and the copper reserves, for the same reason Newmont say the gold reserves are not high enough at Havieron, wouldn't suit their business model criteria. Rio talks in millions of tons of copper not hundreds of thousands. Palmer did say Telfer was coming home and that includes Havieron and I would say that it was part of the negotiations with the Australian Government that lead eventually to the decision allowing the takeover of Newcrest. Exciting times and can't wait to see the River card.

Agreed Arthur but think the 14p takeover comes this year. A double ain’t too bad so I’ll keep averaging in as it keeps going down. Hopefully it goes down to 3p but I think it will hit a floor there if it does.

Takeover bids incoming INMO. Shaun said it would have to be an eye watering offer. Callum says its a win, win 💰 💰 💰

Looks like 10p is very shaky. Always gives up any rises quickly. Don’t know why the faithful think it will be any different this time. Company is in trouble. Needs capital badly. Of course if they get a takeover bid accepted you could see 15p. That’s the risk you take. Only have to look at HZM another one of hydrowrongs badly timed gambles lol Love the way they are celebrating 10p and talking about pounds again when 10p not that long ago was described as impossible. I do love the rampers. They have a short memory. I don’t.

Daddy Warbucks. Another question? So if Newcrest did loan GGP shares and failed to close them before the Newmont takeover are Newmont now liable for said shares out on loan?
Similar to how Newmonts approach and takeover of Newcrest started, I wonder if an informal approach has been made towards Havieron/GGP?Hence the sudden rise!

hazl, not just a mention "Havieron future linked to Telfer: Prior to its takeover by Newmont, Newcrest stated the continuity of Telfer Operations extends into early FY25 with its West Dome Stage 8 cutback approved in November 2022. In the short term, we don't expect Newmont's plan for Havieron will differ from the proposed Newcrest development timeline. Newmont will hold a stronger hand in any potential divestment discussions of its Telfer and Havieron assets with Havieron in production and de-risked. Initial production from Havieron will be processed through the Telfer Mill, located 50km to the west. In the long-term, we expect challenges in Telfer maintaining its production profile to meet the size of the Telfer Mill. A new standalone mill at Havieron, correctly sized, may be the best option to capture the most value from Havieron. The last sentence is interesting
