WHSmith stores sell out of Paul Burrell's book on launch day
London, October 27 /PRNewswire/ -- The launch of Paul Burrell's
book, 'A Royal Duty' has taken the country by storm on its first
day of sales and WHSmith predicts that it could easily make it into
the top five biographies of 2003. At launch, the book is
out-selling Hillary Clinton's 'Living History' by around four to
one and WHSmith predicts that first week sales of 'A Royal Duty'
will total approximately half of those enjoyed by David Beckham's
'My Side'. WHSmith's Business Unit Director for Books, Gary Kibble
said: "We are expecting Paul Burrell's book to be the biggest book
of the week across all book genres. More stock is already on its
way out to WHSmith stores nationwide in order to fulfil the demand
so many of our stores have experienced." DATASOURCE: WHSmith PLC
