Posted at 29/8/2024 07:43 by pwhite73 Shorting and spread betting are two different types of financial instruments. PIs spread bet meaning they bet on a share price to move in a certain direction. There is no actual buying or selling of real shares.Shorting is the borrowing of real shares then physically selling them into the market to drive the price down. When the price is down you then buy the real shares back for a cheaper price and return them to the lender. Nobody lends or is even allowed to lend real shares to ordinary PIs. |
Posted at 27/8/2024 17:22 by pwhite73 runster - "If NEO had been falling 20% a day then you might have some credibility."NEO was falling 20% per day. You seem to forget the shares listed at 1.25p in November 2023 and was trading at 0.3p at the start of this month. Desperate for cash they've embarked on a charm offensive which included a broker report putting a valuation of 20X on the share price. Two positive RNS's and a director interview not to mention the illicit tweets by JB. So here you are at 1.45p But as I say I'm not interested in any of this. I'm only interested in the fundamentals. |
Posted at 27/8/2024 08:28 by runster PWhite's argument is that NEO doesn't own Herkries and isn't going to buy Beisa and at the same time argues that the price of uranium is going to fall and that the only reason the share price is rising is that lots of people are buying their shares. He argues that despite not owning any uranium, NEO will continue to place shares in order to raise the money to bring the uranium resources they don't own to production. It's the ravings of a madman. |
Posted at 26/8/2024 18:51 by pwhite73 PWhite said this and PWhite said that about company X but the share price jumped from 0.00001p to 100000p therefore PWhite was wrong.Well no. Where a share price ends up does not negate the facts regarding an AIM/small cap company. These share prices are driven by PI sentiment more than anything else. Over the past two weeks the board have created fantastic sentiment but as I have shown things are not all as they seem. I see another one of JB's companies Marula Mining has done a 50% discount placing on Friday. As with 95% of these AIM/small cap mining stocks the only real money that is crossing palms is yours. |
Posted at 22/8/2024 22:31 by pwhite73 runster - Never mind what shares I'm in. This is the NEO thread so I will only discuss NEO and matters pertaining to NEO.Here's something for you to think about. If First Equity believe a 1p share is worth 20p why are they not on the share register as a significant holder?. Work that one out. |
Posted at 21/8/2024 10:38 by pwhite73 runster - I placed EEE in the same category as NEO and all the other AIM natural resource stocks. EEE share price raced up therefore he claims I was proved wrong.EEE claims it has discovered £billions of worth of Titanium (a rare earth mineral) at their Pitfield project in Australia. Like NEO they have no money to exploit such resources if they even exist. The shares are down 40% since their high in January 2024. Like NEO there is a Middle Eastern supporter who took placing shares at 11p in January 2024 the shares are now trading at 8p. |
Posted at 20/8/2024 13:23 by pwhite73 runster - Very few if any listed AIM/small cap have any connection with their mining operations overseas. In 95% of cases they are simply fronts for lining directors, nomads, brokers, auditors pockets.NEO was incorporated less than a year ago in November 2023. Major players and individuals lend their names to the company as is common on new listings. Rothschilds, Quinton van der Burgh, AOU Commercial, Sunshine Mineral Reserve Limited etc. All of them receive a slice of the money raised from placings at the expense of PIs and it is at the expense of PIs because PIs own 73% of NEO. The uranium mining operations in South Africa for Beisa and Henkries will cost close to £1 billion. NEO can never raise that money from its listing all it can do is placings here and there to tell you this milestone has been reached and that milestone has been reached. When it comes to mining operations on the scale NEO are talking about in South Africa its not even the major players that appear on their prospectus or in their RNS statements that forward the cash it is the banks that put up the money. NEO is well down from its listing price and continues to fall because the wider and more knowledgeable market knows what's going on. NEO has obtained a listing specifically to raise as much money as it can from the capital markets otherwise why list. Why give 73% of the company away to mug PIs. There is good reason to believe NEO avoided the AIM because of the scrutiny they would be placed under by a nomad. There is no nomad for main listed companies. As sure as night follows day NEO will raise and raise and raise whilst all the time showing how closer they are getting to extracting millions of tons of uranium. Not one single ounce of uranium if ever extracted will belong to NEO |
Posted at 20/8/2024 13:05 by blakesmith NEO NEEDS TO GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER THE LAST RNS WAS RAMPY AND JASON IS PROB WONDERING WHY IT ISNT 5pYet the selling here is quite heavy Who is selling Is the funding being done on the sly to the detriment of existing holdersThese ceos and brokers together always seem to have hundreds of millions of shares they somehow got on the cheap and they are sold into The share register shows their top 10 holders list owning a large chunk and bid owning some yet the share price can't move past 1 |
Posted at 14/8/2024 16:10 by pwhite73 RNS 10/11/2023 - "Neo Energy Metals plc, the near term, low-cost uranium developer, is pleased to announce that it has raised £500,000 by way of a Subscription, through the issue of 40,000,000 new Ordinary Shares of £0.0001 in the Company (the Subscription Shares") at a price of 1.25 pence per Ordinary Share. This is in addition to the share placings described in the Company's prospectus published on 2 October 2023 and First Day of Dealings RNS announced on 9 November 2023.Application for the Subscription Shares to be admitted to trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange is expected shortly. Following admission of the 40,000,000 Subscription Shares, the Company's issued share capital will consist of 1,256,371,468 ordinary shares with voting rights. No ordinary shares are held in treasury at the date of this announcement and, therefore, following admission of the Subscription Shares, the total number of ordinary shares in the Company with voting rights will be 1,256,371,468." 1,216,317,468 was raised at the placing on 09/11/2023. The following day another 40 million was placed. Since then another 174 million has been placed where we stand today at 1,430,171,468. The priced has plunged from 1.25p to 0.40p as of 12/08/2024 It rocketed to 1.10p yesterday on questionable acquisition news. It is my belief they will place shortly on the back of that recent rise and volume. Watch and learn. |
