UK Sells GBP10 Billion in Inaugural 2033 Green Gilt via Syndication Tap

The U.K. on Tuesday sold 10 billion-pound ($13.66 billion) worth
of its inaugural 0.875% July 2033 green gilt via a syndicate of
banks, according to a bank involved in the deal.
The issue was priced 7.5 basis points above the yield on the
reference gilt, the 4.25% June 2032 bond, implying a price of
100.033 and a yield of 0.8721%, it said. Demand was in excess of
GBP100 billion, including joint lead manager interest, at final
terms, the bank said.
Joint bookrunners of the issue were Barclays, BNP Paribas, Citi,
Deutsche Bank, HSBC, J.P. Morgan.
