Provides More Choices in Healthy Sides
Legacy Food Storage, a manufacturer of good tasting,
high-quality emergency meals and related products, today announced
six new products, including four new vegetable and fruit options.
This expands the number of healthy side options to go along with
its Legacy Premium freeze-dried meals.
As of today, in addition to corn and green beans, Legacy will
now offer broccoli, carrots, mixed vegetables and peaches. All of
the new Legacy Essentials vegetable sides are freeze-dried. Simply
add water to rehydrate and enjoy.
“By offering more vegetables, fruits and other side options, our
customers now have more healthy choices to feed their families,
which if like mine, often include picky eaters,” said Phil Cox,
CEO, Legacy Food Storage. “With the expansion of the Legacy
Essentials line, customers will also have increased nutritional
benefits, like fiber and vegetarian-friendly proteins, available to
feed their families in times of emergency or otherwise.”
The other new products in the Legacy Essentials line
include:
- Dehydrated peanut butter
- Steel cut oats
These new products are sold separately, so they can be purchased
with or without any of the Legacy Premium emergency meals.
Legacy products are manufactured by Honeyville, maintain the
highest standards and have non-GMO options. Honeyville
facilities, located in Honeyville and Salt Lake City, Utah;
Phoenix, Ariz.; Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., and Cincinnati, Ohio,
are among the highest‐rated facilities in the country with SQF
Level 2 (NSF) facility certification and additional third party
certifications in kosher, halal, gluten‐free products and
non‐GMO.
