Always amazes me the aggressive stance that some shorters take, don't know whether that is supposed to scare NR or shareholders, certainly bully tactics and haven't got a bloody clue who he is .

I tend to look at the opposing view , so,

"@goodsofa
Fair value for #VRS is sub 50p and that is being generous. For the record I am very short this stock."

"@badsetee

Fair value for #VRS is above 1.70 and that is being mean. For the record I am very long this stock"

Both are daft statements to the CEO because only he and the team have any indication of what the perceived value should be, I don't have a clue at the moment but happy with the current consolidation.

sports shoes.. in China ... with a couple of big brand names dropped into the mix:

".. claims to be the world’s largest maker of shoe sole resin.."
".. The company’ has production at four sites in China. Most of China’s top ten shoe makers use the materials as do international brands such as Adidas and Nike..."

You won't be shot down by me Spike, I thought similar reading that this morning and also with a recent shared photo from a "well known consumer goods company" and the keep typing tweets over the weekend I just have the feeling that packaging news may be close...

Just a passing note.. seeing as packaging is one of the areas in which Nanene is expected to do well:

".. By combining with Bemis, Amcor takes a big step toward being the global leading consumer packaging company.."

".. And while the combined company will be listed in both the United States and Australia, Amcor will move its official headquarters to Jersey, a British island located near Normandy, France. This new domicile will result in more favourable tax treatment..."

".. Bemis was No. 3 in the most recent Plastics News ranking of North American film and sheet processors...
.. Amcor Rigid Plastics, based in Ann Arbor, Mich., was No. 1 in Plastics News’ latest ranking of North American blow moulders.."

Battery - nice try BUT, even if there had been one dominantly recognisable brand in the Turkey holiday pic, in my view it would not have been relevant because the comment (see everywhere) was a response to a question in the podcast after his holiday.

Had Neill made that comment on Twitter and showed a holiday snap then it may well have been relevant.

Best wishes - Spike

On the way home on Sunday I was chewing over in my head Neill's comments on Twitter regarding the latest sportswear collaboration. We think he likes to leave hints beforehand and I was chewing over his comments about this collab being so large and that whilst on holiday he could see their brand 'everywhere'.

Then I remembered he'd put a picture up from his holiday. Thought to myself "I wonder if there was a clue in the picture", lots of people wearing a particular branded tee shirt/shorts/shoes etc. Rushed home to get the picture on a decent sized monitor but alas no. He managed to get a picture with no discernible branding on show with any of the people in the photo.

Re hoverflys post. 'Neill likes this article on packaging.' Pros and cons from plastics v paper packaging (and possibly other cellulose products). If overall, the pragmatic solution regarding food packaging issues, is to reduce plastic through addition of +nanene ie less required per product; and recycle it ie a mono-plastic and +nanene hybrid is recycleable versus conventional multi layer plastics which are unrecycable, then that might be a near term compromise. A durable +nanene plastic bottle as part of a deposit return system. And eg food trays that are easily recycable might be the best eco solutions avaiable at present, and offer significant improvements to the current offering (or the alternatives) in terms of pollution and the amount of CO2 used in production. Looking foward to such developments, if they arise. Good luck neill and co. Aimo. Dyor. Best ellis.
