Is it the revenue reduction problem for PR companies twitter creates that makes you cringe?

I imagine many PR companies feel the pain of free global 'advertising' avaliable on twitter.

I'm sure if others seeking to damage the reputation of your company and you with lies on twitter then you would jump at the chance to defend the company for free.

I've been off air so couldn't answer.

WMG have a position in the Cambridge graphene centre. There is a battery development/testing facility there.

Some time back we pointed out the funding gained for such research at Cambridge by VRS (Cordos Europe link).

Huawei are heavily connected to Cambridge.


Versarien has been working with WMG (Warwick Manufacturing Group) and their partner companies and scientists at the universities of Warwick and Cambridge to collaborate on the production of power storage devices such as batteries and supercapacitors using Versarien's proprietary Nanene graphene nano platelets. I Have followed Vrs for many years and am well invested .

I don’t feel NR and the team have put a foot wrong and now is more exciting than the ever .

For a new investor you seem a little un excited especially when you look to have made some decent profit to date had the confidence to top up again even with a cynical mind frame .
Why did you top up ?

excuse me being cynical BUT, if you bought at an average of >£1, you have bought or at the least topped up recently.

I have to ask the question - why given that the 'concerns' (considerations) you raise have been around for a number of months, and China since early January, why have you built up that size of holding? To me it just doesn't compute - sorry.

Edit: re your dislike of Neill tweeting, very recent tweets have dealt exactly with one of your concerns: the situation of IP in China. Also some of these tweets (which you dislike) have been a direct rebuttal of accusations put to him by shorters.

And you have a problem with that???

And you say you ran a large PR company, and you find this use of twitter inappropriate.

Yeah have been following his tweets and the story. Shares halted as stated above at 367$.

First thing came to my mind what if vrs goes priv. I don't thibk so it is gonna happen as NR ideology seems different to Elon Musk.

slightly off topic....I see Elon Musk has tweeted he wants to take Tesla private at $420 dollars and the new york stock exchange has halted trading in TSLA values the company at $69 Billion......Pity all those funds that are still short who are down about a $2.4 billion Dollars the pain is just about to get a whole lot worse,the biggest short bonfire in history :-)

No problem gordie, would guess that he is in a no win situation with the twitter probs, understandably he is protective of his company and he only does it to answer questions some of which are useful to us as shareholders, it is his 'private' account so he is entitled to use it?

Without collaborations there will be no deals so they are important, and there we have it with 'the city' , doesn't matter about them does it, they are not currently involved and when they were they were trying manically to drive the share price down so they could fund and flip? Seems to be doing quite well without them.

IP is a big focus , not just China though, US are just as capable and any other big company. I would think that it applies right across the board and good that they are looking at ways to tighten it up.

Would be nice to see some orders but suspect them to turn up now they have gone for 3 tonne capacity?

First ever post, but with 100,000 shares at an average of £1.08, I guess I can say what I feel. And BTW, I owned and ran one of the UK's biggest PR companies for 20 years.
Firstly, Neill, IMHO, needs to spend less time on Twitter-ing and more on keeping his powder dry until deals - yes, deals - materialise. Yes, it's great that a CEO communicates, but what value is it to me that he keeps reminding us about where he ranks in the share-holding hierarchy or how many 'collaborations' are in the pipeline, or how adept he is at selling the dream. The City is financially, not emotionally or prospect-driven.
My other concern is about IP. The Chinese/global mentality takes no prisoners, and I worry that there are armies of bright minds working out how to overcome VRS's USP.
Sorry, but only wanted to express some concerns.

Battery...he does say in the podcast that this one 'ticks'the boxes...not sure if that was a clue but it was as though he wanted to get that comment in.... just a thought but maybe Im reading too much into it..

EDIT: Their reference to CVD is apparently the chemical vapour deposition of diamond - not graphene.

If the jv is ongoing I presume it involves Versarien's Total Carbide subsidiary?


EDIT: Ah. Sorry. Yes you are right. The jv was ended. I presume it ran only until Dimar mastered cvd techniques perhaps!
