There are a lot of chippy people out there who don't like to see other people being successful...

We are NOT down 1.5p prices are same as Friday: 5 @ 120, and only Singer at 125, then 1 @ 127, 1 @ 128, 3 @ 130
Actual price to buy is probably 122.5 (so that no MM can easily jump over Singer and make money). Besides we don't believe any MM's really have significant amounts available at this time.

'I just feel frustrated by his apparent lack of energy and enthusiasm for the company' - if VRS want to move our US venture forward - appoint SG - just a thought

I'm not one of those people who looks forward to a short squeeze. Pretty sure the spikes often get sold into. Let's watch Tesla and see what happens.

Each and every day there are things happen even in a normal company.Invoices are raised. Material arrives. Enquiries are made. Investment presentations even. Personnel come and go. In an abnormal company the same things happen but much more intensely. Perhaps more high-level interaction? Discount things here , we're abnormal. There are probably ten days or so per year where it's necessary to be in where no official news happens. You won't be able to forecast which days.Beyond the current high just above £1.40 there are new highs.....In abnormal companies even in August! Lol Gla .

Sonsonny

It is a mistake to assume that AIM stocks are news driven for moves.

EG

VRS was at the 60-65p range having been over £1 but were there due to Miton aggressive selling to cover redemptions WB sold some around that time too due to a need.

Once Miton stopped selling the share price took off again. Funds started to buy and the share price kept going. Miton and Herald fed the demand and it kept going up.

Last week it was held back by singer (confirmed most active MM, end of last week)

Singer have dealt with the majority of Miton stock.

If Miton and other big holders sold none this week not supplying the MMs then we would hit 140p quickly imo.

If an share price starts to move up buyers react to secure shares.

If there is say a total of 500k short then to close they are on borrowed time imo as well as borrowed stock.

At a science event in Cheltenham a few weeks ago, kids at the Versarien stand were drawing images that conducted electricity that switched on light bulbs, using conductive ink provided by the company.

Any connection? :

smallfry: thank you for the detail, it is genuinely appreciated. We are far more of a 'family' here than a simple BB. We take each other seriously and actually care about what happens to each other.

Over time you will hopefully have the opportunity to meet up with some of us at Investor Days or AGM's. Meeting Neill and the team is actually obligatory (almost), because once you have done so you will understand how unique and genuine Neill actually is, and why we have such a passion for VRS and its team.

I understand that this all sounds evangelical - BUT - don't be fooled not for one second (big mistake), many of us are very hard nosed investors that have known good times and bad, successes and failures (some quite 'epic'), we are not here on a whim and a prayer, not by a very long shot ;0)

But enough for tonight.
Best wishes - Spike

Lucky, I am sure you are correct. He was announced when the US office was opened. Since then I believe he has only been mentioned once more, Neill asked him to respond to something on Twitter. He certainly hasn't done anything that has been made public.

Thanks, Lucky - I think in theory you're right, but hard to believe; the link between his activities and VRS appears tenuous, but what do we know?

I don't think Marko gets it, could be being unfair but his tweets say to me (and they are always retweets of what someone else has said), be happy and have lots of holidays it's ok lots of successful people do it.

He is giving me the impression through his tweets that he is totally missing the point and someone needs to put a 🚀 in the appropriate place. He has taken Jason Lemkins tweet re. lots of holidays is good but should balance it with this one

Once or twice in life, someone will give you a shot you don't quite deserve

Work 100 hours

Do whatever it takes

Make it happen

Marko sounds like the antithesis of what VRS is all about, I just feel frustrated by his apparent lack of energy and enthusiasm for the company, maybe I am wrong and would love proof to the contrary.

Good evening Spike
I own about 5000 shares in Vrs it is my intention to hold them until 2027 that is when I retire. I f they are worth a lot more than they are now that would be great.
But in truth I find having a small personal interest in the success of a home grown company a worthy and of course if successful a rewarding cause.
I respect the rights of others to invest in whatever way they see fit but for me a want to be able to bang the drum for this company even if compared to others on here I am banging that drum with a feather.
I hope that makes sense Spike
regards john

Personally I'm planning to live off the eventual dividends in retirement (I'm 38 but a bit gammy), or to sell some when growth slows to only 10% in a year, if I find the perfect home and need a deposit or if I find the next Versarien! Certainly not planning to sell any till after China is up and running or other significant commercial large-scale agreements. Look at Apple though, elephants can double.

I will have to sell my Mum's when she dies, though I will try and sell them on a spike to buy back lower if possible, in ISA or via spread bet.

Otherwise LTH, too cowardly to trade other than BTFDs.

Just checked, just over 90k between us.

smallfry: it's none of my business, but do you happen to have any VRS shares, and if so what do you see as your future intention regarding those shares?

For instance some of us see them as a means of early retirement and have a specific ideal time frame, others are invested to help relatives (mortgages / Uni' fees etc.), others are simply wishing to increase their wealth or with other specific goals (really nice cars, homes etc etc.).

Personally I've sold half mine a little while ago to fund my bro's mortgage and my home total referb.
The other half is being held and will be very gradually sold down from around 2022 onwards depending on my plans at that time.

Best wishes - Spike
