A number of previous VRS holders appeared on TERN pumping it and still do.

Fest as you know I looked it up and declared it was pointless engaging.
Everyone spouting off about DA and how brilliant it is.

That was probably formed by the promotion of DA to raise funds in the US. Some here go on about wanting revenue forecasts, some like me don't as they are impossible to forecast and present failure points.

The DA promotion to get funding was actual of about £40k revenue H1 2017 but a fund raise promotional forecast of $5 mill revenue in 2018 then $10 mill 2019.

As I have said XG sciences did similar outrageous forecasts to attract funding.

No one fell for the DA BS in the US it seems.

Note The same company were doing a fund raise for someone else around the same time. That fund raise leads to web pages with details of the opportunity. The links to the DA fund raise by the company leads to non existent web pages, one goes to go daddy a web domian site.

Easy pickings for bears.

The possibilities with graphene and other 2D materials are limitless. I believe this tiny world offers a potential to humankind we can only dream about. VRS is at the forefront of this revolution, 'first mover advantage.' Making these dreams reality. When neill says he doesn't know how big the company could become, i believe him. The potential uses are mind boggling. A great bet on the future to my mind. Aimo. Dyor. Best ellis

Indeed. In theory, the main tray could be made from a biodegradeable material, such as cellulose - an abundant and cheap material, and with the aid of graphene, become durable and waterproofed enough to be fit for packaging uses inc food. Yet retain its biodegradeable nature and/or be easily recycleable. A 2D/3D solution to packaging waste/pollution. Blue sky thinking. Aimo. Best ellis

Pshevlin thankyou for the information i stand corrected, however the thin film covering is only going to be a small proportion of the overall weight of the packing the main part will be in the product tray itself. Which will mean it's only going to make a small percentage difference.

Just to back you up in in that PS - From Marks & Spencer

"By 2022 all M&S product packaging in the UK that could end up with our customers will be not only ‘recyclable’, but ‘widely recycled’. To achieve this, we will actively collaborate with others to bring about changes in local government recycling policy. By 2022,

we will also assess the feasibility of making all M&S plastic packaging from one polymer group, which will help maximise the use of recycled content."

M&S maybe dont know it - but Graphene got to be in the mix there somewhere

dmorty....the point about adding graphene to plastics is that thin film coverings to food packaging are presently made up of several polymers which are hard to recycle. They can be made of a single more easily recyclable polymer but this would be thicker. Adding graphene would enable such an easily recyclable single polymer film to be used which was as thin as the present kind.
Ergo, Graphene makes plastics more easily recyclable.

No way to work it out Elbillo, just gives a rough estimate, another rough estimate is that there are not many left. A few busy days would give a fair indication.

Grand, but as this is a VRS board would you care to keep the conversation on that topic? Thanks in advance.

Cheshire I don't believe you can use that formula. The % is at 30th June whilst the value is present day. Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

Latest release from Flexenable via Google USA - PDF from 4th July 2018 - some new info - including projected product roll out plan into the 2020s

Quote from Summary page

"Volume manufacturing of OLCD will be available from Truly in the second
half of this year."

So everything still on track it seems - hopefully still using our ink..

As far as i know graphene doesn't make plastic anymore recyclable or biodegradable you can just use less of it for the same strength of product.

Is that 1.7% of their fund or of VRS shares? Presumably their fund but what does this represent in financial terms or actual VRS shared - anyone go any idea?

Miton down to 1.7% 30th June no. 14 in their top 20.

If it has been them supplying Singer then there won't be many left.

Hard to find what Herald may or may not have left?

Luckyorange. The only reason you have aja5 irritating you is because superg said nasty things about his beloved Tern. Really pathetic behaviour that I’ve seen from him many times, loves the sound of his own voice.
