06/8/2018 22:47 | Here we go - Pre commercial dam beginning to burst? - Samsung apparently to launch their new graphene battery tech for use in brand new phones due out 2019 - 2020 - Beaten to it by The Huawei "Honor Magic 2" - due ot end of 2018 - according to leaked info QUOTE "Device manufacturers are increasingly looking at graphene batteries, ever since the recent incidences involving lithium-ion batteries. However, beyond few uses, we haven’t seen any real products meant for mass production. According to Huawei, its own graphene battery technology storage capacity is only 45 percent of a lithium battery with the same capacity. What works in favor of graphene batteries though, is the rapid charging speed. For example, a 3,000mAh battery could charge in about 12 minutes. More importantly, the life of a graphene battery is approximately double of a typical lithium-ion battery" | pcjoe

06/8/2018 20:26 | No idea Spike but the time corresponds with the ISO work and appointments that have been going on recently. I would prefer him to be going to China but gawd only knows what's going on there and who's dealing with it. | cdub1
06/8/2018 20:22 | cdub: are the NGA on the west coast? Best wishes - Spike | spike_1
06/8/2018 20:16 | cdub1, "an educated guess would be that he is meeting with the NGA to discuss ISO standards." From a recent RNS.... "Both Dr Kemp and Dr Kolsov are at the forefront of developing the international standards that will define graphene and other nanomaterials." Surely if the meeting is about standards he would send his specialists. Why have a dog and bark yourself? | sandbag
06/8/2018 19:54 | Whilst I would love NR to be going to meetings at Tesla HQ (can you imagine the share price if he did!),an educated guess would be that he is meeting with the NGA to discuss ISO standards. | cdub1
06/8/2018 19:53 | Good evening - gosh it's hot here in London 33 at 7:30p.m. Moving on .. what was interesting about today's posts is that there were hardly any, possibly in part because the share price appears to be consolidating (which is good), BUT more importantly - I think - because the shorters appear to have given up (which is in some ways a shame - depending on how you view your fellow man). Personally if they rot in hell that is too good for them, but we know (from the Twitter evidence - that Neill is a much nicer person than me, and doesn't seem to hold malice towards anyone). So for me - there is a lesson to be learned, but not quite yet! | spike_1
06/8/2018 19:52 | I wish I had grabster, right at the beginning, then sold some at 144p for Opti of course! Something about me prevents me from going all in with 1/3 of my wealth though! | runthejoules
06/8/2018 19:31 | I don't have that problem, having already placed all my eggs in this one basket :-) Next thing I want is a cryptic clue from NR about his imminent California trip.. for us to puzzle over ahead of the answer. | grabster

06/8/2018 18:53 | Thanks, Woody, wasn't paying attention.... So UT = Unclassified? | axotyl
06/8/2018 17:46 | axotyl - you have seen it here a few times recently - a final trade goes through at a price below or above what you could really have bought at - this has the effect of making it look as though we have closed above or below the true trading price. We saw it last week. I think it is often done to make it look as though the share price is opening lower the next morning (when the true prices are revealed) in order to scare investors in to selling... | woodpeckers |
