Would be nice if he has and yet to be convinced as he doesn't bang the VRS drum on twitter which is a useful PR tool. Not even posting up the RNS's as they arrive.... at the very least needs education or advice from the key team players.

On the other hand they could include him in the tweets.

superg1 - so do I (until otherwise explained). And maybe NR's imminent California trip involves a lead that Marko has helped engineer.

I take Marko as just a representative if needed in rhe US should engagement be required by a US company. No office as such.

Well i would agree with you axotyl.

Each time Neill does a podcast he tells us that everyone at VRS is working flat out. I cant believe for a minute that Neill would put up with anything less from Marko too

Versarien plc (AIM: VRS), the advanced materials engineering group, is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement to develop a range of graphene based sensor technologies to enable the creation of digital bandages and wound dressings capable of various forms of physiological movement and excretion detection.

This project will utilise strain sensors printed with graphene ink using methods which have been developed by the Company's subsidiary, Cambridge Graphene Limited. Trials will take place at the internationally renowned Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge with Orthopaedic surgeon Dr Arman Memanzedah leading the clinical trials. He will be joined by Dr Simon Rudland from Stowhealth who will be working with the team to optimise the usability of the data from the graphene dressings to ensure the optimal recovery of the patients post discharge. The agreement will also involve Dr Chris Crockford, Managing Director of Digital and Future Technologies Limited, who will act as liaison between the hospital, Versarien and wider global providers in this field.

Neill Ricketts, CEO of Versarien, commented: "We are very pleased to be working to bring our graphene ink technology to the medical arena. This is our first collaboration in this area and we anticipate that the properties of the high quality graphene we produce can bring significant benefits. In particular, the incorporation of graphene inks will enable the development of 'smart' wound dressings, facilitating better patient monitoring and enhanced recovery.

"We are very excited about the potential for graphene in a variety of medical uses and anticipate entering into further collaborations in this area in due course."

That was dated 21 February, which is less than 6 months ago, so may well not produce news this year. But has anyone picked up any progress reports in medic journals?

I don't think you can judge a person's abilities, nor what they are doing based solely on the number of tweets that they are posting!

How do we know what Marko is up to, and why or how is he going to tell us? Anything exciting is not going to be blasted out from him on Twitter, it would have to go through NR.

One juicy US deal and he's going to be flavour of the month....

Shavian - I too have never seen whatever it was that NR saw in Marko Ruusinen when he appointed him. He seemed the very kind of rather amateur managementspeak waffler that I would normally avoid! In response to earlier observations from critics, NR stated that he had confidence in him (or summat like that), so I was happy to give him the benefit of the doubt and asssume that he was working to a plan that just wasn't visible, and that his task was perhaps to report quietly to NR which he might have been doing. But the longer he appears to do or say nothing of note, the more sceptical I become. I look forward to NR eithrer putting us right or ditching him.

I think it perfectly reasonable that NR should be asked what MR is doing (beyond casually retweeting stuff now and then). And what role the Palo Alto office is performing.

Sorin Moisa MEP (Romania) following NR on Twitter. Could this be the Bucharest contact? NR mentioned he was going to Bucharest in a podcast (although he did say it was Hungary he was going to!!!)......easy mistake I suppose :-#)

Un-named US ‘graphene manufacturer’ places order for high purity graphite for strength in concrete. Sounds like a GO application to me, but indicative of the pace that the nano-materials world is starting to move at.

I hope NR’s reputed US trip will result in the appointment of a more dynamic VRS representative. Marko sound like a complete waste of space.

He could. But I think his leadership in EVs is being eroded.I'd rather advanced non lithium powered cars came from elsewhere after his Thailand embarrassment .Of course if he buys countless rolls of our product he'd be on his way to redemption.

So now Musk who is well aware of VRS can if he understands the BS around graphene pick off Fisker with a graphene battery uppercut.

Here’s a link to Research & Markets April 2018 report on the Global Market for Conductive Inks. I’m not about to spend £1200 on a report which is already 3months out of date. However just a quick scan of the contents shows what a complex and fast-moving world Cambridge Graphene is enmeshed with. Lots of news to come from this sector.

EG. Are we already involved with this little London company? If not we soon could be (pure speculation on my part)

I was going to post about the BS Fisker had been caught out with after his goads of Musk re Fiskers graphene batteries.

Recently it was clear Fiskers plan and claims were BS. Graphene has not been mastered in batteries but WMG are up there as a world leading player and seem to have made a breakthrough using few layer GNPs.

I see Fisker has appeared in comms with NR on twitter. From the comments it shows Fisker was indeed full of BS at the time he goaded Musk.

I'm offered 123.21 to sell and 123.9999 to buy so all those 123.99 are buys not sells. As sg1 says once SING runs out share price should move up quickly

I'vebeen keeping an eye on it Spike.

It's a key point for anyone looking to buy or sell on any share. The small changes in the price.

EG If it edges towards and hits the full price with 1 on the offer it generally means that price is about to go.

I've been watching TERN re that and it was prevalent there. As soon as it turned then the buyers/traders start to buy but then the buyers taking a risk lower down sell into that buying.

No I'm not trading it I just watched for further experience of PI behaviour.

Interesting share price Scap broken ranks and bidding 123 to get your shares. And buyers having to now pay a more normal 124.5.

Will be interesting to see if Singer come of the offer and what they then do.

Could we be getting near the end of supply ??
