Mornin'all (and an especially warm welcome back to AVATAR333).
#8872,
10%! That made me check, Tom. Because I need to get quite a lot of takeover proceeds back into the market, I'm going the IT route (can't be @rsed to research the number of individual stocks required). The ones I bought on 29/12 are down just under 1% overall (part of which will be spread and ealing costs) but as I'll be holding 'em til the Grim Reaper calls, I don't think in those terms. Remind me in a decade or two.

Good morning Patriots. I had begun to think that Freddie had arranged for you all to be assassinated so he could complete his takeover of the POS fred.

#7936,
I've just parked some ill-gotten takeover gains in NSI Income bonds at 1.16%, not that it isn't a crappy return but at least I've got a chance of getting it back which is more than you can say for the banks (it's above their guarantee limit). Mind you, as with PB's and everything else, I wouldn't put it past them to chop the rate once they've sucked enough in. Sadly, a goodly chunk of it will go to HMG anyway, come next January.

He has 10 bagged imho. Big takeover and new gusher to be announced tomorrow. Heard it from a reliable source. Strong buy.

The scheme for a socialist takeover by making the public sector so attractive nobody would want to work anywhere else, and the private sector so unattractive nobody would want to work there, was first advanced over 100 years ago. Easier and more secure than armed revolution; far easier than the ballot box.
It has been gathering pace for some decades now.
