6.4% Divi at 327p and sustainable , sounds reasonable in this interest rate environment.

Looks good to me. Like sustainable divi. Works out about 6% at current SP

Excess capital over solvency of 180% returned to shareholders after debt reduction. Current solvency 195%. This is before disposals so laying groundwork for special div or share buy back.

The Board has declared a 7.0 pence per share interim dividend in respect of the 2020 financial year which will be paid in January 2021. The Board currently expects to recommend a final 2020 dividend of 14 pence per share which is subject to a final decision to be taken in March 2021. The expected 2020 total dividend of 21.0 pence per share is then expected to grow by low to mid-single digits.

Happy with the 2020 divi and future divi plans but slightly disappointed regarding the lack of further 2019 top up. How will the market react?

I will buy more on any pull-back should that happen...there is more value to unlock in due course. Maybe the market will sell initially and then reflect on future opportunities...I am relaxed but always best to be prepared for a surprise one way or another.

Maybe even an idea where the cash will be invested if we are to be UK and Canada only then the AA looks like a decent enough choice and very cheap present bidder will take out the AA for 7 X ebidta which in comparison to the takeout of RAC was 12 x ebidta always thought that selling it was a mistake .

Assuming the dividend is rebased to 20p, that would mean a 6.25% yield on a 320p share price. The top one year fixed savings rate is paying the princely sum of 0.85%. Kinda puts things into perspective.

If you're in for long term recovery anything a bonus as there will be share price increase more than anything few decent divis and specials all good. Divis no longer frowned upon because of covid. Should be middle of road imo

Depends on what you want as well. I'm here for the dividends going forward and some capital growth. I'd like to see that a strong supported dividend policy
