Looks like one of their planes might have crashed in Nepal, an atr 72 just went down , avap have one lease to yeti airlines there, very sad situation

Statement of the obvious - but clearly the re-opening of China borders and resumption of inbound/outbound air-travel with China - must bolster Avation's Far East lessee airlines and generally be very good news for Avation.

Excellent news in today's RNS.

New lender - major Japanese bank.
Fixed rate loan.
Prudent long-term Match-funding against lease income.
Cheaper margins/interest rate.

Extending/managing/optimising maturity profile of debt.

There have been a few bigger trades late in the day for the past few trading days after a run of very small drip feed sells in the days prior. I would imagine a few orders have been filled and the price is freer again. It must be on a few watchlists and the break upwards will attract buyers (and sellers).

Lots of trades this morning. Wonder if it has been tipped. Although these days in these markets the usual tips seem to have little impact. There are always lots of moving parts at AVAP so not really sure what the next positive development could be. Bond buyback? Sell a couple of planes ? Further upward revaluation on aircraft? Share buyback? All of the above ?

It is interesting to read the full S&P Ratings Upgrade Note from yesterday where they Upgraded Avation by two notches from CCC to B- with Stable Outlook.

One notes, amongst other things, that S&P are projecting that "Avation's EBIT to turn positive, exceeding US$50 million over the next two fiscal years, compared with the negative US$62 million generated in fiscal 2021".

Investment grade is BBB- or above. At B- this is 6 notches below investment grade!

A landmark upgrade yesterday by highly regarded S&P which increased Avation's CREDIT RATING to B- .

This is an important event and removes Avation from the difficult CCC ratings category and brings them back into the better regarded B ratings category - albeit still at the lower end.

Make no bones about it, this is a very good sign of improving financial health and stability - and will certainly please existing bondholders, paving the way for future credit ratings increases and starts to hint at a re-opening of access to the capital markets with lower coupons.

The financial rehabilitation of Avation continues apace.

A good day for Avation.

Can see many references and announcements about the listing of the warrants on the Company website but - maybe looking in the wrong place- can't find the actual UK FCA listing PROSPECTUS itself which is likely where any KID information would be.

Anyone know if Avation produced a KID/KIID ( Key Investor Info Document) in relation to their recently listed equity warrants under Ticker: AVAW ?

One of my brokers are refusing to allow the purchase of this security without a KID as they deem it a complex instrument and they have taken an internal business decision that they require a KID/KIID.

They will allow sales but no purchases.

Anyone know if a KID was produced?

Anyone having the same issue with other brokers ?

I presume the warehouse facility is to fund the ATR program.
The bond is their millstone.
