06/9/2021 19:07 | Irrational. | quepassa
06/9/2021 18:50 | A large impairment but could have been a lot worse. | russman
06/9/2021 11:13 | Yes, very good news this morning. Removed a lot of uncertainty. I see no reason why the share price shouldn't rise nicely now in the coming weeks & months. I doubled my position this morning on the back of the news. | a_game
06/9/2021 08:44 | That sounds like another issue resolved for them and given it is wide bodied it will be a chunk of change. Not without pain that is for sure but another step forward | harrogate
05/9/2021 08:15 | They have bought back in the past and I am sure if they feel cash flow allows they will do so again. Great way to increase NAV. The director buy of a chunk of loan notes augers well I think. Steady as she goes here for next 12 months I would think | harrogate
05/9/2021 08:08 | Impecunious. | quepassa
05/9/2021 07:10 | AVAP should start buying back some of their bonds. | russman
02/9/2021 11:07 | I am sure AVAP have much to do and are far from out of the woods and the NAV has been decimated. But they seem to be doing the rights things and what they said they would do. From pushing out the loan notes to placing the ATRs and delaying any new deliveries of them. Then selling the jet. I have stuck with it and hope we can get back towards the current NAV and that this doesn't take any further battering | harrogate
02/9/2021 11:00 | Ah. There they are :) | wigwammer
02/9/2021 08:08 | Erroneous. | quepassa
02/9/2021 06:47 | Airlines with better credit can borrow and buy cheaper than leasing from AVAP. AVAP is in liquidation until its credit improves. | russman
01/9/2021 19:03 | Well you know the announcement is good when the resident naysayers fail to comment.. :) | wigwammer
25/8/2021 19:40 | Today's announcement of a sale of an aircraft at a gain, along with the share price now gently ticking forward is a good signal. Once £1 is breached, it'll probably not be seen again. Still rocky waters ahead, but getting less rocky. | bdbd11
16/8/2021 20:54 | Currently AVAP are chewing their own tail, just to stay afloat, | russman
07/8/2021 08:00 | AVAP's 8.25% 2026 bonds, currently trading at around 83p, giving a yield to maturity of 11%. | cc2014
28/7/2021 06:34 | Well lets see. We can estimate AVAP WACC but lets use the bond redemption. We can estimate the current leasing revenue p.a (but dont know % in arrears) We can guess the interest received on $100m. Market leasing rates have dropped sharply due to pandemic. Will leasing rates recover to cover their WACC i.e make a profit. AVAP are getting squeezed in the middle; another default is looming. | russman
27/7/2021 15:46 | I would very surprised if we are at these prices by the end of the summer. The company doesn’t even need a fully boarded fleet to operate, they just lease out to companies on demand. I already see via aviation professionals boards the industry is now picking up. | hutton3
24/6/2021 08:21 | 10yr old ATR is small change. Doubt there will be a final divi this year; cash conservation. | russman
23/6/2021 21:13 | Harold, if it was a good price they would have mentioned it so suspect not and they sold at discount. | riverman77
23/6/2021 20:12 | 10 Yr old ATR is peanuts in the scheme of things. More interested why Jeff is paying 110p for shares. I suspect his Epsom Assets is also leveraged to the hilt with the placing shares and bonds. Dividend is his next big decision. | russman
23/6/2021 11:07 | No details of price achieved or book value of the plane .perhaps they never declared that ? | haroldthegreat
22/6/2021 22:04 | RNS. Sale of an aircraft, material time on aircraft purchases extended. | casholaa |
