02/3/2023 10:27 | Yes but that was a sale so who cares who bought it ? This is a lease and a short one so credit quality impacts overall credit rating. I suspect in true AVAP fashion if it isn't good don't mention it is the MO! Still cheap against NAV but recovery is taking longer I think. | harrogate
02/3/2023 10:16 | Hmmm. maybe/maybe not. they didn't recently name the buyer of the 737-800 either. who knows. maybe the growing tentacles of gdpr??? can't be at all sure but do not recall seeing HeviLift on the customer list before. maybe someone with a better memory than mine can confirm or otherwise. herewith link to avap's list of customers:- hXXps://www.avation. all imo. dyor. qp | quepassa
02/3/2023 09:54 | That must be the first time the customer has not been named. And no statement to say on normal terms etc. Got to think they are struggling to get these aircraft off the books by June. 2 more to go. Maybe they are specific but I hope it doesn't mean demand for the new ATRs is low as I think that will be the main growth driver going forward. | harrogate
28/2/2023 11:29 | I emailed investor@avation.net asking for clarity on market expectations and received most recent broker notes from WH Ireland and Cannacord within a few hours. Target prices 185p and 255p respectively, and both issued prior to the company's "significantly ahead of market expectations" update. Never a better time to be heavily invested in AVAP IMO | faz147
26/2/2023 12:49 | What's vague about "significantly ahead of market expectations". that's about as direct and concrete as I have ever seen. | quepassa
26/2/2023 10:48 | Well it was a very vague statement, probably at the realisation that they should have highlighted this a little while ago, ahead of impending results. What more could we want - hopefully sufficient detail to come with results on the 3rd. | sammu
24/2/2023 15:40 | Simon Thompson had a sum of parts value of 164p as of March 2022, he follows the stock so wouldn't be surprised to see an update from him next week. 'Significant' usually means a 20% beat as a rule of thumb but yes you're right faz, it doesn't mean diddly if you don't know market expectations. Bod could be a bit more helpful to PI's who don't get the broker notes. | paleje
24/2/2023 11:59 | Amazing update from AVAP this morning! I'm invested for the long-term and not interested in selling for anything less than £2, so intra-day movements don't really bother me too much. That statement from the company says it all though: "the Company expects its financial performance for the full year ending 30 June 2023 to be significantly ahead of market expectations." What more could we ask for?! Has anyone got current market expectations/house broker estimates to hand for context? | faz147
24/2/2023 09:16 | very quite board though for such great news | naplion
24/2/2023 09:10 | it's always been under the radar | a_game
24/2/2023 08:37 | new to this share, how come this share not on the investor radar . seems so undervalued , whats holding it | naplion
24/2/2023 07:24 | Nice trading update, short and to the point albeit with dates mixed up. | paleje
20/2/2023 07:57 | Not a huge amount of Notes tendered. Then again perhaps not surprising given much improved financial strength of Avation and the juicy coupons on the Notes. They had been prepared to buy up to $100m of Notes. Surely a sign that fixed income investors are regaining appetite for Avation debt after the pandemic. We can look forward to a reopening of the capital markets for Avation for further future issuance of Notes at significantly lower coupons. Ignoring interest and legal fees etc, the balance-sheet impact is that they have managed to buy back under this exercise £7.055m of Notes for a consideration of £6.067m. That's a beneficial impact of c. £1m to Avation but likely that legal fees and costs would have eaten a chunk of that amount. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
16/2/2023 08:31 | a testament to the pent-up demand for aircraft as passenger numbers begin to soar back to pre-pan levels. although some of this aircraft type have been repurposed to freight carriers. can anyone track down who the buyer was - out of curiosity? another good move by Avation which continues on the way back up. all imo. dyor. qp | quepassa
16/2/2023 08:24 | Often there's a comment re book value, but not here. Needs must. | argylerich
16/2/2023 08:17 | Good to get rid of that big lump. Helpful for cash flow. Need to get the other 3 placed / sold and then start to show the market how they can get growing again and start to move on from survival mode. Probably a bit cheap but always many moving parts with these guys. | harrogate
03/2/2023 08:50 | Though a little lower than expected, trading update perfectly acceptable in my view and not a time to sell. NAV 2.5-3x higher than share price and airlines making good post covid comeback. Undervalued | investor0109
30/1/2023 13:48 | I think we're finally off the ground. GLA & DYOR etc. | casholaa
30/1/2023 10:14 | 'Please fasten your seat belts' | casholaa
27/1/2023 15:43 | A sign of both financial strength and corporate shrewdness of Avation in changing the price on the Notes which they are attempting to buy back. Although, if it was me, i have to admit that I wouldn't be tempted to sell back given the improving financial health of Avation and the very juicy coupons! all imo. dyor. qp | quepassa
26/1/2023 17:44 | Yeti could do with another atr too | casholaa
26/1/2023 17:41 | Now up approaching 100% since May last year (2816 refers). With China open and on the move again, this should boost Far East airlines enormously. There is a big pent-up demand for both flying by passengers - and also for new aircraft by airlines. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
26/1/2023 15:46 | Still taxiing but picking up speed I think | casholaa
15/1/2023 12:38 | Not the AVAP aircraft. The AVAP aircraft is 9N-AMZ (MSN 986). | carcosa
15/1/2023 10:41 | Registration 9N-ANC, if the correct suspect aircraft, does not appear to be the aircraft leased to Yeti by Avation. 9N-ANC being an ex Nok air delivered to Yeti in 2019. The Avation ATR72 (9N-AMZ) was delivered in September last year as per RNS. | mighunter |
