23/12/2020 13:54 | I think it is, need to check older RNS, but have they actually increased from 19.1% to 19.9% in voting rights too? Not saying that's 100%, just looking at the AA RNS earlier...but if they have, that's a pretty good sign they have some plans maybe beyond 35p. Thoughts all?? | mart2020
23/12/2020 13:45 | I see that the late 3.1m sale yesterday was ABC reducing their CFD. They purchased 3m to close at 18.06% shares and 1.73% CFD. I'm guessing this is a good sign? | ![]() kelso29
23/12/2020 11:45 | I agree on all with you. I differ only in the modus the final goal will be reached. It could be in several steps taking several quarters taking the outside shareholders as a bag holders. For you and other holders I hope I am wrong... but as a very poor gardener I can not afford the risks | ![]() kaos3
23/12/2020 11:23 | Kaos ABC are holding out after their undervalued comment, no full and final offer wording in the bid suggest Bidco are open to discussion. So with a blocking vote ABC are the ones that need bought off. They know the game is up and that they are not going to get a massive uplift but they are IIRC under their purchase price so they need to get as much as possible back to mitigate that, averaging down helps too. Bidco have worked hard on this deal and put in their lowest offer as there were no other bidders they have more firepower to add if necessary and will throw ABC a few pence to get them onside. There is no way Bidco IMHO will walk away from this after all their work if a few pence more will seal the deal. ABC will not want a no deal either as the price will plummet from here so will agree but need a few pence more to reduce losses. The City is all about squeezing as much as you can out of a deal. So I expect a few p more, maybe 5p, and a deal done. | ![]() pogue
23/12/2020 10:29 | fair - I read it differently - after no interloper up until now, PEs one by one dropping out ...., 4 extensions, recommending 35p, involving DK and not the others .... as there are many variables how the TO can be done. in full or less so. most important is to be delisted -and then the big ones will be begging to sell. after they get the reality of the situation only imho and wish the holders all the best | ![]() kaos3
23/12/2020 10:07 | Kaos3 Each share is a bet on how you read the information. I am reading the information as an increased bid to get the deal over the line. Past performance is no indicator.... | ![]() pogue
23/12/2020 10:02 | thank you. for me - each stick is a snake - I had false hopes too many times in similar situations | ![]() kaos3
23/12/2020 10:02 | So ABC increased.. | ![]() heatseek77
23/12/2020 09:54 | Perhaps some of us are waiting on a revised bid by Bidco to get ABC to vote for the sale? | ![]() pogue

23/12/2020 07:21 | I do not get why are large private investors not selling out and move on. it is 1p gain to be had. | ![]() kaos3
23/12/2020 07:00 | Yesterday The 2022 bond increased by 0.03% to close at 96.99%. Millennium declared that on Monday they reduced their long Equity SWAP by 27k. I see that there was a late sale of 3.1m at 33.216p(which is higher than the closing sp), which could be declared today. | ![]() kelso29

22/12/2020 14:52 | Paulo435 just experience ive had with shares and bid situation, i should've bought TalkTalk...plus AA holders have been screwed from all angles for the last year.. | ![]() heatseek77
22/12/2020 13:47 | Heatseek, have a look at talktalk - offer price on the table is @ 97p. Just like Aa it will be voted on early next year. They have sat above the offer price almost every day since it was announced - currently 99p. So, not sure if what you say is correct. There are no other bidders rumoured either at the mo. | paulo435
22/12/2020 10:23 | Sloth from my experience of known bids normal to keep so within about 10% of bid figure, they MM won't ever offer bid figure they use movement in that range to make money.. | ![]() heatseek77
22/12/2020 10:20 | Lloydie I thought you sold out the end last week? | ![]() heatseek77

22/12/2020 09:31 | Could someone more knowledgeable answer this please? If the bid is rejected can the consortium immediately offer a higher bid or would they legally have to walk away for 'x' amount of time? Thanks | 1mul
22/12/2020 08:43 | How come this is at 33.1 when we have an offer on the table at 35. Does this mean that the consensus is for a No Deal? We seem to be dripping downwards. | ![]() thesloth2
22/12/2020 08:39 | Spoke to drew last night and he said 38p is the very minimum that he would accept | sam349
22/12/2020 07:17 | Yesterday The 2022 bond dropped by 0.35% to close at 96.96%. Blackrock declared that they purchased 41k on Friday. The DarK side declared that they purchased 1m on Friday to close at 17.50%. ABC declared that on Friday they converted nearly 17m CFD into shares to close at 17.59% shares and 2.23% CFD. Friday was the day after the BOD said that the vote is on 14 Jan. I was assuming that the CFD had voting rights, but maybe they don't, so ABC are increasing their Voting Power. These transactions are happening off market (volume isn't high enough). See what is declared today. Does anyone else have a take on ABC transactions? Is it good or bad? | ![]() kelso29 |
