Respect to Wiseman for holding his position/conviction. I sold out for a modest return as the opportunity cost was getting higher. Added to my holdings in Serco and bought some US pharma positions.

Korvet - they will be banking on paying 35p. We need someone else to come out of the woodwork to make that increase.

Precisely--AIM junk--- They could have bought Herald Investment Trust (HRI)for around 900p: currently 1990P -- Katy Potts is a safe pair of hands. Another great bargain was WEIR at around 750p -a gift: currently trading at 1933p . Both should continue to do well.

What do you reckon the final price will be? I had thought they would get 62p as this was the pre-covid price. And being a bit if a charist figured that 45 was possible by August to Nov. Followed by a slow steady recovery as the debt was being serviced and reduced. K

Still around and still holding. Not much to say - just very disappointing. Bidco will pick up a great business on the cheap because of the high leverage and make a fantastic return. It looked very positive in August with three (possibly four) bidders sniffing around. I believe DK are buying to maximise the amount of the 16% available to roll into the PE deal.

Yes I'm surprised there hasn't been more posting on here since Thursday when the BODs RNS stated that if the vote on January 14 is YES it is all over and we are getting 35p. I see that Wiseman hasn't posted since 29 November and Amran since 3 December, hopefully they are still fit and healthy.

Yesterday
The 2022 James Bond dropped by 0.07% to close at 97.31%.
The DarK side declared that on Thursday they purchased 285k to close at 17.33% whilst Millennium reduced their long Equity SWAP by 10k.
I can't see who was the late 500k buy on Thursday, but it looks like it was a PI, Surely it isn't to try and gain 4% for a few months exposure.
Volume only just over 1m, so not expecting any changes declared on Monday.

What they don't seem to realise is that since the takeover bid at 35p, all shares affected by covid and brexit have mostly recovered massively. Surely just in normal trading AA would now be valued above the bid. I hope the BOD wake up and do something positive and constructive instead of waiting for their supper !!

how do you see the refinancing working? Will there be a fund raise? I suggest so as the board have said there would need to be and whether they are telling the truth or lying they will have to have a fund raise to avoid losing any further credibility. This will be a negative on the share price for a while I suggest.

In case of a no deal (unlikely), then I don't believe the share price will take a long time to recover given that without take over this would more like 40 to 60p.

If interest rates stay low (likely) and inflation goes up (likely) then these types of companies will be like holding gold.

VOTE: NO DEAL.

Yesterday

Legal & General notified that they sold 20k on Wednesday and Millennium reduced their Equity SWAP also by 20k.
Volume was over 2m so should be some disclosures today. Indeed there was a late buy of 500k at 33.55p, so would be good to know who it is and maybe they will continue buying today

I follow ABC with their verdict, currently voting no and waiting for ABC's update after negotiations with bidco and AA.
