02/12/2020 17:52 | just get me my 35p ..had enough now ..it started climbing late on then dropped so whats going on | ![]() lloydiee69
02/12/2020 17:22 | I hope ABC block this awful deal. I am still invested here. On logp - I have spoken to some major players and they are convinced this deal is good. News to come early next year re bond for funding, the rest is funded by the consortium. I must admit, I am a heavy investor in more solid companies like Kaz, itm, evraz etc. I don't often take a punt on AIM as that is not my expertise. But it is what it is and luckily with the heavy buying yesterday, I've turned that situation around. Looking for a 1.7-1.8p exit to give me a tidy profit. Not planning to stick around in it for a long time. | ![]() amran01
02/12/2020 16:56 | Does it matter if ABC top up or not - they have sufficient holdings to influence the final price or lack of, if the deal falls through. On a side note ref Logp - in reality, do you actually understand what the deal means? Do you understand the potential issues with the field? How are Logp going to get the funding required? If you truly understand and are able to answer the above, then I feel you'd be in a good position to ascertain whether the drop was overdone. Good luck in your trading, but I do cringe when people invest/trade in Aim oilers understanding very little about the reality, and end up losing a lot of money. | goblin99
02/12/2020 16:54 | I haven't been on the bb and I only post on the AA board. Tbh - I am expecting no deal. It's in the best interest for the shareholders. But that will come with a drop in sp, unless a higher bid comes along. 40-50p would seal the deal here. It's a shame there is no outside bidders showing their hands.. maybe no one else is interested? If the offer is too low, I am tempted to roll in to the consortium and leave it there. But I don't like my money being stuck for 5 years. I don't have much here now anyway. The price action here is too predictable. | ![]() amran01
02/12/2020 16:49 | I was in profit before the drop. I bought in below 2p at first. Had to top up relentlessly yesterday and today it's come good. 1.7 to 2p is coming in the next few sessions. Go and check out the trades at logp. Someone bought £750k earlier today. Some heavy buying pressure pushing it up. I also spoke to the major shareholder of logp yesterday who I was connected to by an associate, he thinks the deal is good and they will make money out of it. | ![]() amran01
02/12/2020 16:46 | I'm still in here with 500k shares. I haven't sold out. In profit on logp but I had to top up massive yesterday at 1.35 to get the average done. The drop was overdone. I am also in tils, immu and a few others like evraz and itm. I don't think this will drop below 32p but DK seem determined to push this deal through. They have a mountain to climb in my opinion. Shame ABC not topping up. Perhaps all they can do is go and cry to the papers. Still watching this unfold, but no idea whether a reasonable offer will land or not. Any additional money I put in to AA will be to trade it and not hold until jan. | ![]() amran01
02/12/2020 16:34 | Wow, that's a quick bit of playing hardball. Perhaps the banana loaf really turbo charged the discussions and they had an all nighter. Where do we go from here Stinger, be interesting to hear your view? | goblin99
02/12/2020 16:32 | Roxbury, Emotions ? If asked, I would call myself the laid back investor. I value knowledge, detachment, patience, and discipline. They are the prerequisites of successful investing | ![]() roddiemac2
02/12/2020 16:17 | Sorry Mokey I was just trying to be funny (and failing miserably!) I always tell the wife to take a chill pill when she catches me putting a teabag in the sink! Your confused by my posts? How do you think I feel? lol I really haven’t got a clue. Does anybody really truly know what they are doing? I LOVE this share dealing malarkey but it really is an emotional rollercoaster isn’t it? | roxburyhouse
02/12/2020 16:15 | csm i know DK half a million wowzers it's going take them along time if their planning to buy buy buy to 75%!! ru still an amigo? | ![]() heatseek77
02/12/2020 16:12 | Dk just bought another 465000, they said thanks for letting them get them at 32.2 | ![]() csmwssk12hu
02/12/2020 16:03 | Word is that ABC have now accepted the 35p offer. | ![]() the stinger
02/12/2020 15:12 | I am very chilled seeing as I have been here all along. It was merely a question as I was confused by your posts. They are discussion boards after all. Not much point posting if you don't want people to read them and take in what is written. It really is a punt now but we deserve more than 35p which we can't even get as at 33p for now. | mokeywales
02/12/2020 15:05 | Ha ha I could tell you but you would have to ask me again in an hour! Bought BIG initially and then sold the lot at 34p like the majority of people here. For the first time in my life I’m going to try and do a “balanced portfolio” (it won’t last) Why am I back? Purely a punt. Take a chill pill man. | roxburyhouse
02/12/2020 15:01 | Mokey lol, I know Roxy, Amran and Kaos3.. although think Amran might have been tipped over the edge by his oil n gas punt | ![]() heatseek77
02/12/2020 14:38 | Welcome back. On the 25th Nov you stated 'you were happy to sit on this long term'. Later on the 25th you declared you had sold all your shares. What is your strategy this time? I am still holding but think there is a strong element of risk that if the deal is rejected that the 35p offer will be null and void and a cheaper offer comes in, if AA is driven to brink re refinance and timelines. Obviously I hope not and wish for enhanced bid, interloper or refinance but am certainly not confident. There again you may have already sold again before you read this. Best Wishes | mokeywales
02/12/2020 12:38 | Yes, am assuming absorbed directly by the takeover consortium. I do believe their holdings will gradually increase, to a point, and then it will be like walking through treacle. ABC will no doubt call their bluff, and at some point an agreed price after all the hubris and bluff from both parties. Then it'll all be over and we can try and search for the next potential takeover target:-). Stinger will no doubt update this evening if able | goblin99
02/12/2020 12:09 | So Credit Suisse have declared that their shareholding is now below the reporting limits (I'm guessing 1%) and this happened on 30 November. Volume on 30 November was too low for this to happen through the stock market. I can't see who bought them either? | ![]() kelso29
02/12/2020 09:39 | kaos3 our slovak gardener lol lol ;-) | ![]() heatseek77
02/12/2020 09:11 | When will the Canary's sing for their supper thats what I will want to hear first then we will know another offer has been tabled. | ![]() wskill
02/12/2020 08:59 | or they just simply put the shares into - It is not worth it - accumulation - zone | ![]() kaos3
02/12/2020 08:49 | Has anyone else noticed we were trading at around 32 then all of a sudden yesterday around 3pm we jumped over a penny and now are sitting in the 33.3-33.8 range something is a foot last chance before higher bid imho dyor | ![]() csmwssk12hu
02/12/2020 08:24 | Yesterday No declared changes in any holdings over 1% nor regarding shorts. The 2022 bond was slightly down 0.02% to close at 97.94%. Low volume. Hopefully this stalemate will be resolved by a higher offer | ![]() kelso29 |
