06/12/2020 11:01 | Roxbury I would like to change my price to 35p lol | ![]() john09
06/12/2020 10:56 | Jaspo Yes, its all up to ABC. Hopefully they have been busy contacting Apollo etc to get a plan B (refinance) in place (basically do the lazy/inept BODs job). Or we could get lucky and a new bidder appears 😃 | ![]() kelso29
06/12/2020 10:54 | That is exactly one of the common tactics used - I'd expect once volume dries up we will see an increase in the offer price. | goblin99
06/12/2020 09:24 | I'm thinking that all those in profit (ie shareholders since March) have sold up and are riding the value train. All long term holders have paper loses and will vote no to 35p. There's no way they will get 75% to vote yes. But the BOD and PE knew this when they put the 35p offer out. Have they tried to sell the 35p offer? No, because it would be like a chocolate teapot. They are going to have to increase the offer or otherwise the vote is going to be an embarrassment to them. | ![]() kelso29
06/12/2020 09:19 | Yes definitely nothing down to management thank goodness for ABC what's the matter with UK board of directors they are only good at negotiating excellent terms and conditions for themselves very few are worth what they receive in salary. I would like to see the wonderful terms they have negotiated themselves in the new AA I am sure it will make your eyes water. | ![]() wskill
06/12/2020 08:42 | I don't see how PE thought they could get the AA without ABCs support. Maybe the plan all along was to lowball. Get the cheap shares from the weak and then up the offer to nearer what ABC wanted, meeting halfway. Should be an interesting week. Let's not forget if we do manage to get a better price it is down to ABC and not the BODs | ![]() jaspoland
06/12/2020 08:34 | Pity management went native from the start I suppose with the previous PE experience between them all they understood where they could cut the best deal . Could not sell out now and let them enjoy their spoils it would go against the grain poor behaviour should not be rewarded in my book. So I guess whatever way it goes I will stay until the end with bidco now buying and at last putting their money on the table after trying to bore us to death and sell for 4 months we are moving forward and with capital deployed they will have to up the offer to get control. | ![]() wskill
05/12/2020 08:41 | Yesterday As we expected no notifications concerning changes in shareholdings or shorts regarding Thursday. Bit more volume on Friday so maybe there were some changes, find out on Monday. Regarding Cleveland Square/Gary Klesch per the form 8.3 filed on 12 August I see that 9.75%(60m) is held via CFD with only 4.2m held directly to give 10.4% in total. I've read that posters say that his average cost is 110p,(being the cost when the CFD were taken out), but doesn't he convert them at the current price of eg 34p? I remember that ABC converted 12m at 38.8p in August, so I'm just using the same logic as I'm no expert in CFD! Conversely if the convert price is indeed 110p, what happens if he decides he doesn't want to lose 75p a share (45m in total) and doesn't convert? Of ABC 19.94% holding, 14.90% is held directly and 5.04% via CFD. So with these 2 shareholders nearly 15% is held via CFD, but who with? DK 17.1% is all directly owned. If anyone can shed some light on this, that would be great | ![]() kelso29
04/12/2020 15:11 | thinking of selling and splitting my portfolio into 2 share holdings | ![]() lloydiee69
04/12/2020 14:05 | I'm not, and once they've swept up as many cheap shares as they can, we're at a stalemate. ABC have to do nothing except vote no, PE will have to take the initiative. | goblin99
04/12/2020 13:37 | gob99 no one sell then... | ![]() heatseek77
04/12/2020 11:40 | As alluded to previously, once the float of shares have been bought up, and things dry up, I believe we will get the increase in offer by Bidco. Up until then, don't think much will happen. | goblin99
04/12/2020 10:10 | Be £20 next week | ![]() csmwssk12hu
04/12/2020 10:02 | shot up, Jefferies 5p, 35p, 63.5p lol | ![]() heatseek77
04/12/2020 09:17 | Goes to show someone is getting a bargain.. | ![]() the stinger
04/12/2020 09:15 | Therefore according to Jeffries , and without all the takeover happening.... AA should be trading at 63.5p in the current macro and PE to debt ratios. Assuming current revenue. | ![]() the stinger
04/12/2020 08:45 | So the rate of accumulation will start to slow down now that they have picked up all the easy ones another 8 weeks and they may gather a few more percentage points . So good we have ABC not letting them steal the company for nothing. Come on PE we want to see the canarys sing for their supper show us all what sort of people they are . | ![]() wskill
04/12/2020 08:14 | Yesterday DK said they purchased 6m on Wednesday giving them 17.1%. No change in anything else. Small volume so not expecting any changes today. Jaspo, yes the 4.424m trade, which was shown as a sale. I'm guessing it was from a broker who is hoovering up shares, rather than an individual transaction. | ![]() kelso29
04/12/2020 06:13 | Stinker, DK only have 17% accumulating at rapid rate of 1% a week... Sorry guys but your all wrong negotiations taking place in a tee pee just outside hook off the M3 - they left constraints of boring soup (Basingstoke) behind them last week | ![]() heatseek77 |
