04/1/2021 18:44 | hope i havent sold out and miss out | lloydiee69
04/1/2021 18:21 | Why would UTIMCO use Albert bridge? I just checked and they have $55bn under management, they don’t need AB? | csmwssk12hu
04/1/2021 17:54 | Wiseman looks like you were right. UTIMCO just announced 14% so with the 3 from earlier I assume another RNS to announce the other 2% will shortly arrive. Doesn't look like we will get our higher offer now. Shame | jaspoland
04/1/2021 17:20 | Jaspo - I don't think it is a trade as it would have been in the volume figures on 31/12. It could be a transfer from ABC to its own investors. Woodford did a similar thing when passing his shares back to Blackrock. It means that rather than having one person voting for the 19%+ it will be 5-10 investors voting which I guess makes the deal at 35p more likely to go through. | wiseman1967
04/1/2021 17:01 | There will have to be another holding RNS tomorrow, they have either sold to consortium at 35p or they have sold to another bidder at a higher price, they are not allowed to sell to consortium at a price that is higher than 35p, if that was the case the AA would have to announce an increase in the bid price, so simply they have sold to consortium for 35p or someone else for more than 35p, considering we had a new holder holding 3.91% first thing this morning I am thinking it’s a new higher bidder, come on 50p lol | csmwssk12hu
04/1/2021 16:44 | The sloth - if the consortium paid ABC more than the offer price it would have to be offered to all shareholders. If the consortium had bought it then volume traded on 31/12 would have been 120m+, whilst only 260k was reported. | wiseman1967
04/1/2021 16:13 | Are ABC allowed to sell to the Consortium at an undisclosed price (i.e. above market) ? | thesloth2
04/1/2021 16:01 | Jaspo - that can't have been a trade as we would have seen massive volume on 31 Dec. But volume was only 260k. That means the ABC reduction and Hamilton Lane increase must be related transactions. Perhaps HL was an investor in ABC funds - if so then expect some big new shareholders issuing 8.3s as if 31 Dec. Over the next few days. | wiseman1967
04/1/2021 16:01 | If they have sold to the consortium then it's game over. However, if they have sold them onto another party we could be looking at another offer coming our way. Will know in the next day. She's still singing although not as loudly as she was on NYE lol | jaspoland
04/1/2021 15:58 | Not sold out for a loss I wouldn't think. | wskill
04/1/2021 15:47 | ABC out? Hmmmm. Just saw the RNS. | paulo435
04/1/2021 15:33 | So ABC out. But who has that 19%? | jaspoland
04/1/2021 14:58 | I have been trying for 2 months to transfer my ISA from Fidelity to IG, spent hours over 10 phone calls and sent many emails to each transfer department getting them to pull their fingers out of their ar*e holes. To finally today be told that they cannot transfer my ISA as there is outstanding corporate action on the shares and will not be resolved before June. Now I know about all of this but why can I still not transfer them?! I can sell them right now if I want, I could most likely even buy some.. so why can I not transfer them between providers?! Anyone know of a factual reason why not? I want to come back to them and say this is bull*hit because I feel it is. But I may also be wrong..? I would rather keep them and just transfer them. I want to see how this plays out and at the least get 35p a share. I also want to keep it in that ISA years tax wrapper. Thanks for any help.. | pappa_lazzaroo
04/1/2021 10:19 | We will know about AA within a week or so, Anyway MHC is where the money is at for me at the moment that covid testing is a license to print money imho dyor | csmwssk12hu
04/1/2021 10:11 | The best time to put a counter bid in is either at the beginning or right at the end, your competitor will have spent millions by this point and will either raise to avoid the loss or capitulate and lose to the higher bid | csmwssk12hu
04/1/2021 10:09 | Sweetener is about to happen touching 34 again | csmwssk12hu
04/1/2021 09:40 | For what it's worth vote NO just got my families 30K worth vote | hey50

04/1/2021 08:45 | Sit tight guys the show is about to begin. | jaspoland
04/1/2021 08:43 | The share price has cleared 34 on the but three times this morning including 34.45 as the high, it’s not done that since the bid was launched | csmwssk12hu
04/1/2021 08:43 | Can’t be as they have to disclose if it is for someone else | csmwssk12hu
04/1/2021 07:57 | Regarding Hamilton Lane, yes I haven't seen them before, maybe its part of the 5% CFD Cleveland Square holding which they don't have voting rights on. Cleveland square have voting rights on 3.72% CFD and 1.68% shares ie 5.4% in total and also have 5% CFD but without the voting rights | kelso29
04/1/2021 07:50 | HNY all hopefully this bod will get what they deserve in 2021 | heatseek77 |
