NTBR announce that they have been appointed as the main contractor for a refurbishment project at Seven Stories, National Centre for Children's Books in Newcastle. A 10 week program costing £750,000.

Hi mach100, I hope we get a trading update but with the relaxing of the rules they don't need to issue one. It's happened a few shares I hold and really is unfair to private investors, let's hope if trading is good we will get one.

One of the most underrated shares around. Buyers are starting to emerge now as I think the recent large sell at 39.5p was the end of the selling pressure. Do you know when the Trading update is due wy1? there was one released on 19th of May last year. I nipped in at 41.13p cos I thought it would be rude of me not to join the party.

just topped up with another 15,925 shares at 44p. In my view the current valuation is far too low. 70p is nearer the true value. GLA

Yes nice jump today. There was a trading update on the 19th of May last year and quite a good one at that. If we have another good update soon the NTBR can certainly recover from its fall. It is starting to show momentum in its business and if this can be sustained, then this is one of the cheapest sector plays around.

HI bb2. Nice to see you hitch your wagon here. I hope that 50000 sell at 39.75 has cleared out the seller. Definitely oversold and the prospect of a progressive dividend coupled with an improved trajectory makes Northern Bear very appealing. Looks very cheap on a P/E basis. Incidentally the Daily Mail shows the North East is growing well.

"The study shows that the index of business activity in England – in which any score above 50 represents growth – dipped from 59 in March to a still impressive 58.5 in April. The North East clocked up 62.4, its best for nine months and the highest in the country, as factory output rose and other businesses prospered.
The region has the most technology start-ups outside London, according to recent figures.
The Nissan car plant in Sunderland is the biggest in the country and one of the most efficient in Europe, building more cars than Italy.
London was the second-fastest growing region of England last month, with a score of 60.2, followed by the South East with 60, the West Midlands with 58.7, the East with 57.4 and the North West."

Hadn't responded to election result unlike others in building sector
So grabbed a few whilst market still thinking about it?
I suspect a seller in the background given the below mid buy price

Trading update was 18th may last year, that was good news, let's hope this is as GoodSome one has been dumping a lot of shares just lately and that spooked the market. I don't think you need to worry.Best of luck any way.

Yes, while i only hold a few it is puzzling to see the continual selling and the share price falling, down over 30% from the recent highs. This is the trouble with small illiquid stocks that can just as quickly rise on good news so i'll hold my few until we get confirmation with the next update. From the December interims..

Order books across the Group remain strong and we are hopeful of a successful second half of the financial year.

They issued a trading update on the 19th of May last year when they were trading ahead so there's a possibility of one this year.

Can't understand the current weakness. House builders were all up today and yet we conceded territory. We need some news (hopefully good!).
