18/8/2015 13:46 | wywcu - correct. But including the one off accounting adjustment for bank fees eps was 10.7p - see accounts therefore PE less than 5 The accounting adjustment is more significant imo as it is a true one off - bad debts of course might recur although I hope not! "Historically, directly attributable bank fees were amortised over the life of the term loans to which they related. Having assessed the impact of the bank facility renewal described below, the Group considers that the terms of bank facilities have been substantially modified and accordingly has written off all relevant unamortised fees. This resulted in a non-recurring charge to finance costs in the year of £239,000. This is a non cash item as the fees had already been paid and will, together with the interest reduction referred to below, result in a substantial annual saving in finance costs in future years." | sailing john
18/8/2015 13:31 | l.a, what a lot of people seem to forget is that last year NTBR had a bad debt of £259k (fully provided for). Add this back in and the earnings per share was 10p which in turn gives a p.e. of 5.45. Crazy or what? I currently have 76k in an ISA and intend adding in the near future. Could easily see 2.5p dividend next year. | wywcu1
18/8/2015 09:47 | wyw......a few years back there was that best selling children's book, "We're going on a Bear Hunt." Hope there's no acquisitive predator out there eyeing up Bear at this paltry price. | littlealbatross
10/8/2015 15:11 | Spread is over 10%! | eggbaconandbubble
10/8/2015 14:20 | fully agree la. Current price should be circa 95p. | wywcu1
10/8/2015 11:23 | This time last year Bear tried to reach 60p but couldn't make it.....is it having another try? We all know its current valuation is paltry. | littlealbatross
02/8/2015 22:07 | NTBR. Goes x divi on Thursday this week,so fill your boots before the price shoots NORTH ,excuse the pun. With a P/E of 4.86 and a PEG of 0.12 there is a lot of buying potential . The price should be nearer 80p and it will happen and soon, you mark my words. | leona306a
27/7/2015 12:22 | Added a few on the dip.... Caused by yet another 50k sale! | sailing john
27/7/2015 07:11 | Mike, If you're looking in, thanks for the tip at the Syqic AGM, the shares do look very good value and there also seems to be little downside risk given the positive outlook statement in the finals, so I've accumulated a few over the last week or so. The clincher for me is that buying now, you receive 2 final dividends in just over 12 months, giving a 6% yield on that basis, so it's hard to see how you can go wrong by buying now. Thanks again. | daz
23/7/2015 11:32 | I have been monitoring trades recently following Roy's sale of 375k in June and a number of sell trades of 25k, 50k and one at 100k between 22 June and 20 July are roughly equivalent to Roy's remaining holding. If these were attributable to him he may now be out or nearly out. The tick up today might support this theory. There is no doubt in my mind that the current valuation is way off the mark especially when the two exceptionals are added back in. If our seller or sellers have cleared we might see some progress over the coming months. If not I think the market might take note of 1H results in December dyor - just my musings and speculation SJ | sailing john
13/7/2015 07:25 | Seems the seller is still about. | shanklin
13/7/2015 06:47 | These are a superb set of results as expected. I was blown away by the 100% increase in the dividend which at pre-open prices is 3%. Can't get that in the banks. 75p not unrealistic in coming days/weeks. GLA. | wywcu1
13/7/2015 06:35 | That looks good! The bank has more confidence in the company, debt and interest going down to normal levels, profits and turnover up and dividend up. | this_is_me
10/7/2015 13:16 | Some nice sized buys coming in today. Roll on the results and then we should be due a nice rise to 60p | swsmith20
10/7/2015 12:21 | boom Last year were July 2nd. | littlealbatross
10/7/2015 11:37 | When are the results due? | boomorboom
09/7/2015 14:20 | SWSmith20, these can turnaround very quickly and should trade higher with their results. | battlebus2
09/7/2015 10:36 | Knew I should have waited below buying more... looks like it is back down to mid 40's | swsmith20
02/7/2015 11:55 | The TS never got reflected in the price due to a seller or sellers in the market. The seller appeared to clear today as suddenly difficult to buy volume. I have been adding since the TS and added again earlier today. SJ | sailing john
02/7/2015 11:47 | What's up? Well apart from the share price that is! | eggbaconandbubble
02/7/2015 10:13 | What a crazy stock! Buys 16k - Sells 5k and we are now no 7 on the leader board and up 8.6%. Not complaining mind you as we should now be at 60p minimum. | wywcu1
02/7/2015 08:29 | Prelims are due.Last year July 2nd .The recent Trading Update said that they would be ...."expected to exceed internal management forecasts and prior year results." All for a lowly Market cap of just over £8 mill. | littlealbatross
26/6/2015 09:47 | w1 - 3% is about 550k so I doubt RS has sold out yet as insufficient volume. However, it feels like there is a seller in the market as easy to buy volume and muted reaction to the very positive TS. This is good news for buyers as it can create an inefficient market I have added twice today SJ | sailing john
26/6/2015 09:25 | I do hope that Roy Stanley has now finished selling. Without his sales we would be well over 60p IMHO. He has already cost me a small fortune in Tanfield (if he is the same R.S. that is) but in fairness it was not really his fault. They should have stuck with the milk floats instead of going after the bigger fish. | wywcu1
26/6/2015 08:53 | Thanks littlealbatross, a few buys this morning helping, 50p for any amount now. | battlebus2 |
