17/9/2014 18:18 | Thanks bb2. Im holding on here for now as i believe conditions should be improving for the company and they are still trading on a low single digit pe... | cfro
17/9/2014 18:12 | Only taking a few profits cfro to fund recent new buys.. | battlebus2

16/9/2014 15:55 | Any particular reason bb2, or just cashing in? Btw i cant find any particular reason why the share price is weak today, but NTBR is a small-cap that is prone to the odd bouts of volatility. Rest of the market weak today too, so could be just general jitters. | cfro
16/9/2014 15:43 | egg Not necessarily.....but. | littlealbatross
16/9/2014 15:21 | I have sold a few over the last few sessions. | battlebus2
16/9/2014 15:04 | Just noticed that all the selling was within a 7 minute period just after 14:00, eight sales of fairly small amounts 22k in total. Suggest to me that it is either one investor, or an investor who runs other accounts as well as there own, eg for family or friends. I operate in a similar way running three different accounts for family members, as well as my own account. And it dawned on me that if sold a stock that was held in different accounts, it would look very much like today's price action. BTW, It's not me, I'm happy to continue to hold. :o) | interceptor2
16/9/2014 14:44 | I have just checked the NTBR website and last full year results, no mention of work north of the boarder. It just seems that the share price is sensitive to a small amounts of selling, or buying which occurred one day recently. They haven't historically released one in previous years, but a trading update would be welcome before the next interim results due in December. | interceptor2
16/9/2014 14:21 | Thanks Albatross. Does that mean a certain foreboding for NTBR? That said what's happening with the share price today. Do NTBR have much business north of the border? | eggbaconandbubble
10/9/2014 13:39 | egg J Pither and Graham Forest founded Northern Bear in 2005. Pither left in 2008 and set up Southern Bear. He left that company and Nigel Wray took over. After a name change (to Environ Group) administrators were appointed. Pither even registered the names Western Bear, Eastern Bear and Golden Bear.I think that he has been linked with a number of failed companies. He is also linked with Roy Stanley who holds about 5% of NTBR. The pair have dabbled together in several companies and are still involved in another NE company, Tanfield (TAN).After once promising to be the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow TAN is worth a minute fraction of what it once was.Have a look at the TAN board run by MTG. | littlealbatross
10/9/2014 09:49 | Where does J.P.Pither fit in? Previous director, founder member? | eggbaconandbubble
09/9/2014 17:28 | RNS at 4:39 pm says that on 3rd September (biggest single shareholder) Jon Pither transferred 2,371,114 shares into Surrey Management Services where he (and presumably other family members) is a beneficiary. SMS sold 10,000 share in the market the previous day. | littlealbatross
02/9/2014 16:12 | It certainly bodes well for prospects at NTBR someuwin. It's shame that we have no brokers covering them, I would have thought a broker would be interested in a company that trades on a PE of only 7.7, and operate in a hot sector. As well as paying a dividend and reducing net debt, what is there not to like? | interceptor2

01/9/2014 17:41 | look's like we are on the next leg up. | wywcu1

29/8/2014 18:24 | Received a tasty divi today whilst we wait for the share price to start moving up again. :-) | cfro
17/8/2014 21:36 | No but an update would be nice. | battlebus2
17/8/2014 21:24 | It is intended that the Annual General Meeting will take place at the Company's registered office, A1 Grainger, Prestwick Park, Prestwick, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE20 9SJ, at 11.00am on 18 August 2014. Anyone attending the AGM tomorrow? | interceptor2 |
