07/3/2017 15:59 | Link doesn't appear to work for me. Anyone else? | andycapped
07/3/2017 15:52 | The link posted to the presentation gives a good overview and a timeline at the end which is useful | howl01
07/3/2017 15:30 | Roadster - Nanosys' Hyperion film at <100ppm cadmium is unaffected by ending the exemption - it would comply with rohs. | howl01
07/3/2017 15:28 | That would be premature Nanoco need to site cadmium free dots availability as an alternative to cadmium to support the case for banning cadmium, once the ban is in place ..... | roadster750
07/3/2017 15:12 | enteleon, based on Nanaco's big anti Cadmium campaign, I would think that if the company believed your theory that Samsung is not 100% cad free that they would go down to a local store, buy a Samsung TV and take it apart. I would think that they must have a chemist on staff that could determine if there was cadmium in the film? Then send the results to a independent lab and to the media. | tdots
07/3/2017 14:39 | volume up again, no price movement, weird. can't all be pi's taking up the slack, someone is buying. re link above at least it demonstrates the market potential, pity nanoco appear to have no share in it, at the moment anyway, can always live in hope | notimpressed
07/3/2017 14:35 | Mr play - I've no idea if the the share price is being manipulated or not but I would feel more confident of my own strategy if there was evidence of short positions closing now. | howl01
06/3/2017 11:20 | sd, all this (below) wasn't in last years notes.., so I considered it a step up? "Nanoco is a world leader in the development and production of cadmium-free quantum dots and other nanomaterials for use in multiple applications including LCD displays, lighting, solar cells and bio-imaging. In the display market, Nanoco has non-exclusive manufacturing and marketing licensing agreements with The Dow Chemical Company, Merck KGaA and Taiwan's Wah Hong Industrial Corporation. Nanoco also has a strategy of direct sales in display and in its other target markets, including lighting."the previous post gave the impression of dismissing/implying nano's 'desperation' to put out news. Don't think it helps.. | jfacwc
06/3/2017 10:38 | back to sub 40. Is this manipulation to get shorters out. | mrplay
06/3/2017 09:35 | jfacwc - Are you reading a different notice to me? The RNS only states a date for the interims, no other comments. Where are you reading comments about multiple Partners, own production strategies, etc..? | sd_anon
06/3/2017 08:43 | at least its april 4th, not april 1st. | notimpressed
06/3/2017 07:53 | The wording in the Notice seems quite a bit more positive this time (than last year), with references to multiple Partners, own production strategies, etc..Also a three week period notice was given in 2015.Can but hope.. Just so long as the regular Cadmium tweets are having the desired effect. | jfacwc
06/3/2017 07:24 | Nanoco seem keen to give us these results Last year they gave 8 days notice I think this is a very positive statement : ) | roadster750
06/3/2017 01:48 | another WH spike - let's hope it's QD related... | howl01
05/3/2017 16:07 | Roadster - the rohs decision will be pivotal to commercial success or failure - a further 2 year extension destroys Nano's competitive advantage and takes the pressure off the Chinese OEMs to convert to cad free near-term. On balance of probabilities I don't personally believe Nano have made any sales yet - all in the pipeline - I'm still in hoping for a takeover - commercial failure but valuable IP. | howl01
05/3/2017 14:48 | Philips have just released a cracking oled tv. | robotface
05/3/2017 13:46 | Bare Minimum Mike. Next release will probably coincide with new shift patern job vacancy. To say we have not made sales yet but now we intend to go 24 5 days a week we can make sales. Another ground breaking year. But we might need to dilute to keep us going until ??????? If they are making sales why wait with news. They release the LG news quick even though they made no sales. | mrplay
05/3/2017 12:12 | Absolutely nothing new it's all the same noise from CES. There must be new news coming though hence why I still kept some of my shares but massively reduced. Nanoco needs to deliver some news of commercialised deals asap or if it misses peel hunt revenue targets for end of fiscal will not only mean 0% credibility but also double whammy of cash call | firminator1
05/3/2017 10:14 | I find it interesting that Nanoco are really pushing the rohs cadmium issue on their blog/twitter, I assume that hansol are producing 100% cad free qd,s and not nanosys cadmium light qd s,what if the latter is the case. | roadster750
05/3/2017 08:56 | Right, I see now thank you. I'm still a bit dubious since the section of the article about TCL doesn't appear to repeat or extend the titles claim. I would love to see this confirmed. | poopsun
05/3/2017 08:29 | poopsun - The first and second sentences on that link: - "Nanoco announced recently that it would be showcasing two prototype QD TVs respectively from Philips and Hisense at CES 2017, January 5-8 in Las Vegas. while partner TCL is presenting its COMMERCIALIZED QD TV at the annual consumer electronic show for the first time. All the TVs use Nanoco patented QD film technology manufactured by Wah Hong." - Note use of the words 'commercialised QD TV'. And very interestingly 'All the TVs (TCLs)use Nanoco patented QD film'. 'All' includes the new X2 and X3. If this is true (and again I mean if, it's just what the article says) then we have a sales and revenue pipeline, and a good one at that. | sd_anon |
