The Chaikin Money Flow Persistence (CMFP) chart study is an extension of the Chaikin Money Flow study. The CMFP ranges from zero to 100, and reflects how long the Chaikin Money Flow stays positive throughout the selected period (the period can be changed under "edit").
The higher the persistence, the longer the Chaikin Money Flow remains above zero, and the more evident that the market is under prolonged accumulation. Vice versa during distribution.
Parameters: Period, use Exponential Moving Average (EMA) or not & Persistance.
For additional help on what the different parameters mean, that isn't included on this page, click here.
