The Chaikin Money Flow chart study is simply a Moving Average of the Accumulation/Distribution. The Moving Average used is either a Simple Moving Average or an Exponential Moving Average. You can choose which one is used under 'edit'. The selected period can also be changed under 'edit'.
Parameters: Period & Use Exponential Moving Average (EMA) or not.

Chaikin Money Flow
Here is an example of the Chaikin Money Flow chart study (on a London Stock Exchange graph)
The Chaikin Money Flow is often used to confirm breakouts, if a breakout above a resistance level occurs, the Chaikin Money Flow should have a positive value before you follow it. Similarly, the Chaikin Money Flow should be negative if you are going to follow a breakdown below a support level.
