Montage Partners, a people-first private equity firm headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, announced today the hiring of Ben Jenks as Director of Business Development. Based in the firm’s Salt Lake City office, Jenks will be responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities across all of the firm’s sectors of focus and further developing the firm’s relationships with sell-side intermediaries, founders, and management in the lower middle market.

Jenks joins the firm from Alpine Investors, a private equity firm with $17 billion in assets under management. While at Alpine, Jenks focused on deal origination across the software, business services, and consumer services sectors. Prior to joining Alpine Investors, he worked on the Business Operations and Analytics team at Route, a venture-backed technology start-up. Jenks holds a bachelor’s degree in information systems and a master’s in information systems management from the Brigham Young University Marriott School of Business.
