You have me filtered Lucky? Superg - don't take this as a challenge because it isn't one, is this what you meant when you said a couple weeks ago that something was probably going to happen within 1-2 weeks to take share price over £2? Exciting regardless, hope you're right

I wish you would take your political agenda elsewhere Ian and bending it to your imagination, just not interested in what you think in that respect.

How many times has NR told you even on his T shirt!

LO- The reason why IQE people come here with negatives is because they are frightened that the semis will be decimated by graphene being introduced slowly but surely as materials for the success of 5G will be key. I have reduced my exposure to IQE to what I can afford to lose, since it showed a flat growth recently. Adding the fact that Apple is a huge chunk to them, then if one day Apple decides to do what it did to Imagination, then that's the end of IQE.

anotherdrink, I think most have filtered that one, had to look hard to find it myself.

Beyond me why some IQE posters feel the need to come over here and knock VRS but these things happen.

On another note, share price being played by trader/s but they will soon run out of steam.

China news

I wasn't fully aware but have picked up on it through extra info that has appeared in the last week or two.

When big China news comes it's not going to be an RNS as we know it. To me based on what has been said it's going to be government level announcement news.

You can be sure with all the Brexit bits and amount spent of the graphene centres that plenty will be made of it by the government.

So for whoever hadn't heard about graphene or VRS by then (probably 90% plus of the UK population) then they will soon. Ian Cowie will be saying "told ya"

If sonsonnyjim had posted some of the comments today e.g. 'So with China failing to come to fruition' and 'and I’ve got a inckling it’s going to crash through the 200dma very soon imho' even though the poster admits they are not a chartist - he would have been slated.

For some reason I think Nike will be one of the first commercial deals to be concluded-a gut feeling as much as anything.

No one has mentioned Dow DuPont recently although they are currently in the US. I think that relationship is as important as anything Chinese.

XG again

H1 2017 their biggest international orders by country not company were to China and South Korea for a total of $63k and $67K to each country.

Now in 2018 H1 the sales to the entire rest of the world came to $87k that's a drop of 65% from £250k last year (H1 2017)

It makes for different reading when you get the calculator out and look at the bits they don't gloat about.

Don't forget XG are desperate for cash and backing and hope to have IPO success, so they are and have been for some time, full of BS.

They currently burn cash at a rate of over $500k per month

Ayl - well if you believe NR there are 30+ deals on the table (though he means 'proposals' - in my book it's not a deal til it's signed).

My views on China timescales are well know - no point repeating them. As I've said before, despite the frustration of waiting, long-term it would probably be beneficial if VRS received some collab orders first - would boost the company's valuation (significantly?) and make the Chinese feel that they're being left behind, light a fire under their collective ass...

Ay130, it has been made very clear by VRS why they have not signed a China deal as yet. They have to ensure IP protection and have the government sign off any deal on security grounds. I would rather they protect us shareholders and our country rather than sign a quick deal which may lead to a compromise of our IP etc. These things take time but may well happen when we least expect it.

There are n strands and if n-1 failed the share price would be supported here or higher if the remaining strand was proven without doubt as a revenue earner, IMHO.Full strands: countries verticals etc , not just say headphones.--- Rhetorical flourishes such as "China failing" are not useful. I will not comment further on the APP!

Club, I didn't say it was off the table only that the much talked of deal is not yet confirmed. Remember the heady days of factory being ready etc etc. Well it's all gone quiet with no guarantee of the deal being confirmed

Now the fun with the XG magic pen on the increase in the average order size.

It's so easy to make big claims, EG H1 2017 v H1 018 saw an average order size jump from $3,322 to £11,345.

Huge this and huge that.

Now think about the $414k to deal with these extra customers and orders. The calculator gives a different and more accurate view.

84% of all the sales came from one new customer, one that wasn't around in H1 2017.

So let's take out that new customer for the real picture.

H1 2017 sales $416k

H1 2018 sales $278k

So go back to the $400k spending for extra staff to deal with titre sales surge etc.

Poor guys must be run off their feet dealing with 6 Yes SIX orders per week. A whole 1.2 orders per working day and for that they needed $400k worth of extra sales staff to cope with the demand.

As you can see their claim like their claims re graphene are an absolute farce.

sorry? China hasn't failed - at least not yet. Just might take a while is all (or it may not - depends who you listen to ;-)

So with China failing to come to fruition is the share price being supported by hopes in US. I am a long term holder, just asking!

If you are buying for the medium/long term then your entry point doesn't matter much imho, as we should hopefully be substantially higher in a few months... short term there could be a retrace to the 130s if no news. But it could also never happen, and then we're back to the 170+ in no time, so dyor

This week could be one of the most important week for VRS connection with the US. The interaction with various parties interested in graphene will probably bring new US collaborations. I am expecting something to be announced following the meetings.
