17/10/2018 10:12 | Plus of course everything on board the vehicle too (seats, instrumentation etc). If every g of weight translates into a cost for air travel, how much greater the cost for space travel? | ![]() club sandwich
17/10/2018 10:10 | The prize could be reusable launch vehicles. Space X ? | ![]() johnveals
17/10/2018 09:54 | Think what a difference lighter stronger composites could make to the amount of fuel needed to get a vehicle into space... | ![]() club sandwich
17/10/2018 09:53 | Interesting tweet re graphene and space. Wonder what applications there are ? Best ellis. 17/10/2018 09:52 | That's a 4+ year old article Fuji. You can buy aerogel insulation products for your house, certified in UK - assuming you're prepared to pay a bit more in exchange for significant space-saving: As to how graphene could be used for advantage in this style of material, the imagination runs wild. | ![]() compoundup
17/10/2018 09:38 | "Graphene aerogel", the world's lightest material- another wonder from graphene. | ![]() fuji99

17/10/2018 09:26 | Yup I use Interactive Investor as well, and indeed money available when transferred using a debit card is immediately usable. Cheers - Mike | ![]() spike_1
17/10/2018 09:25 | paul - seconded. Personally (although admittedly on limited experience, the only other stockbrokers I've used were NatWest and Charles Stanley back in the day) I've always found HL's service to be excellent and their charges very reasonable. And their web site/portal is easy to use and fast. | ![]() club sandwich
17/10/2018 09:24 | Well call me old fashioned, I am now the proud owner of a VRS shares certificate via Primary Bid.Tempted to frame it and hang it on a wall.:) | ![]() affc21

17/10/2018 09:06 | Of course, with geic opening in dec, and with this new lighweighting centre of excellence in manchester, i would dearly love to see 'graphene' named in the budget as the 5th sector in the govts industrial strategy ! Would be helpful for uk plc i imagine and make sense to me, given uk wants to be at the forefront of ev design/manufacture ! Aimo. Best ellis | ![]() ellissj
17/10/2018 09:02 | Call me cynical but...... As,when,if the first Chinese deal is about to be signed my guess is you will probably see abnormal volume/share price movement beforehand. It won't have anything to do with the VRS/Govt team. It will be money out of China. By all accounts they aren't too fussed by the insider regs. Anyway not expecting anything in that direction for a while yet. | ![]() chillpill

17/10/2018 08:50 | Maybe VRS should approach HSBC- "HSBC is leading a wave of British institutions from the City to the High Street which plan to pour hundreds of millions of pounds into cutting greenhouse gas emissions. The banking giant unveiled plans to invest around £250m in wind and solar power parks, alongside a swathe of green pledges from another 30 companies including Amazon, BT and John Lewis Partnership." | ![]() p@
17/10/2018 08:45 | No shavers, just highlighting how WEF seems to be aware of graphene potential re computing tech per it's video ! Which having looked at their website, seems to dovetail with it's 'fourth industrial revolution' agenda. Ie. Graphene and 2D materials, could be an 'enabler' tech to partly help realise this economic and 4th industrial revolution ! That is my excitement; if graphene awareness is filtering up to policy makers worldwide, then it might be pushed along quicker than many imagine ie 'the uninformed city attitude' 'oh graphene, that's years off!' Hope this clarifys :) Aimo. Best ellis | ![]() ellissj

17/10/2018 08:34 | I see the world economic forum is setting a 'fourth industrial revolution' agenda, and has this centre based in san fran, cali. I see this agenda doesn't include 'graphene' yet, but of course, when it does ....boom ! ;) aimo. Dyor. Best ellis. "How can we maximize the benefits of science and technology for society?
