16/10/2018 08:56 | Hello cdub1 & all, The developer of the application, Paul, got back to me & said the app is only released in the USA and UK at present. I'm in the Ukraine at present so no luck. | laginaneil
16/10/2018 08:49 | The XG sciences BS which is just a spin on from years of it. I'll pick on the number of customers who purchased goods H1 2017 v H1 2018 first and then point out the BS. H1 2017 149 H1 2018 131 The biggest drop is international customers which drops from 83 to 49. The the BS re costs $414k mainly on 'extra personnel' due to growth in sales. This is an increase of approximately $414,121 or 21.6% from the same period in 2017, primarily due to increases in personnel costs as a result of our growth in sales. Hmmm I'm sure the naysayers would have a field day with the on an AIM company. The actual increase in sales is down to one customer. The number of customers has dropped. So pray tell why they need $400k worth of extra staff to deal with less customers. In other words where did that cash really go, to spend $400k on staff is a farce based on the figures. | superg1
16/10/2018 08:48 | mula1 As others have said it’s your choice your money . Dyor Check out Vrs Rns off their website. Uni of Manchester Cambridge sites re graphene ect . look at graphene and it’s potential uses . I have bought at 10-12p in early days and have continued to buy right up to £1.80 ish recently . My choice as a lth not a trader . This is not a penny share anymore which it was when I invested de -risked to many sectors I feel . I’m very happy with where we are but everyone one has different expectations. I will say my journey could have been a little different but for Some great people on this board with great knowledge and a helpful attitude. Always appreciated to you guys . Good luck with what ever you decide to do . Ff | forestfred
16/10/2018 08:47 | On FGR I have a couple of snippets. I asked an Aussie broker about the company. His comment after looking it up was..."It is run by Warrick Grigor who is a well known stock promoter so great carefully". On a separate note a FGR shareholder has been asking WG is he will publicly release the spec of FGR graphene before the IPO on AIM. His reply was "no" which is asks questions itself. They might yet have world beating graphene but there are at least a couple of question marks. | chillpill
16/10/2018 08:43 | No worries! News imminent | bobsworth
16/10/2018 08:36 | Ime no chartist but this is struggling to get back over the 50dma , and I’ve got a inckling it’s going to crash through the 200dma very soon imho. | grity
16/10/2018 08:31 | Just been playing with the VRS app, it’s great once you scan the pictures, really impressed, lots of extra info. | cdub1
16/10/2018 08:21 | Adrian Nixon (@adriannixon) Tweeted:I'm Delivering the #Graphene 101 at the #NGAExpo in #Austin TX on Tuesday 16th Oct. My presentation can hyperlink to all these topics so we can take a dive into anything the audience finds interesting. Really looking forward to the conference! https://t.co/lgrlEb5 | 66sequoia
16/10/2018 08:20 | Market is unimpressed by FGR's RNS, down 3.45% I think I'll send my CV in to Nigel Laughton and offer to spell-check everything for free - 'catapluts' on the App, for example. Sounds Yiddish :-) | runthejoules
16/10/2018 08:19 | mula - If you are investing for a few years, then pennies "gleaned" today here and there would appear as tiny dots on VRS chart in say, 3 - 5 years time. Look at the scale of 20p increments in PRSM or FEVR charts for example. We could become like that in a few years. | fuji99
16/10/2018 08:12 | To simply understand VRS technology and compare it to other's, just check the number of collaborations it is involved in so far, especially the type of applications - and how complicated they are. This is why the barriers of entry are so high. | fuji99
16/10/2018 08:11 | Mula1 it's your choice. I've been here since Jan 18 and added more 10 days ago at £1.58 but as a LTH I'm looking at the value 5 plus years from now | bgt1
16/10/2018 08:11 | I thought Shavian had covered it yesterday Shavian - 15 Oct 2018 - 15:24:26 - 40720 of 40856 VRS The world lead in real Graphene (Nanene) - VRS Love to be a fly on the wall in the Graphene Leaders session. XG on one hand (purveyors of junk according to SG), and Warwick Grigor on the other (Noted prince of Aussie BS, according to my Aussie source who is also there in Austin). With James Baker there to moderate, Neill should make mincemeat of them both! The only thing that gives them any credibility at all is Andy Goodwin and doubt that he will be in there too long? | luckyorange
16/10/2018 08:08 | Mula, probably any LTH here would say whenever you're ready - we're just getting going. Having said that, you and YOU alone are responsible for your investment decisions and making them based upon the opinions of strangers is not a good strategy. But yeah, buy buy buy buy buy. | tini5
16/10/2018 08:07 | 1.60 paid !!!! | dickiebird2
16/10/2018 08:06 | I agree grabs, check out their media section re puregraph release! Shocker lol :-0 atb. Ellis Btw, they could possibly have commercial clients interested in lower grade uses, eg concrete, coating, paints etc. It doesn't seem to me they occupy the same space as vrs. Aimo. | ellissj
16/10/2018 08:04 | ellis - I don't think anyone here is fooled by FGR's product. The questions were more to do with how they manage to wangle headlines that make it sound like UoM have somehow 'chosen' FGR. Likewise their reference to GEIC. A namedropping exercise designed to impress the wider world beyond this thread. Crafty headline writing which doubtless will hook them a customer or two - in a world where customers are unfortunately unfamiliar with what matters. They will continue to get away with it for a while yet ;-) | grabster
16/10/2018 08:03 | If you've genuinely done your research then such a question is ludicrous | f3rdinand
16/10/2018 08:02 | Why on Earth do First Graphene not stipulate layer quantity or carbon content? From everything I’ve read on Graphene these 2 factors as well as lateral size are vital when it comes to material effectiveness. | cdub1
16/10/2018 08:01 | Worth a read and listen to the video re smart packaging and IOT on the way (Oct 18) CPI video | superg1
16/10/2018 08:01 | I’ve been watching this stock for a while and have done my research, all seems to be perfect – This is one I would like to add to my portfolio. Yesterday would have been a perfect day to add however what are peoples thoughts on opening a position now? Not too late? | mula1
16/10/2018 08:01 | The difference is in the number of applications. So far only VRS can offer a multitude of high tech applications from medical equipment to aerospace coatings. Others are less pure, thus have limitations in their thermal, electrical and mechanical properties compared to VRS nanene. So no need to mix. | fuji99
16/10/2018 08:00 | forestfred-i am all in re Vrs-but always keep an eye on the news.it pays to be vigilant | dafad
16/10/2018 07:52 | Re first graphene 'puregraph' - what no layers ? What non iso compliant ? Probably a higher grade graphite. Usual graphite end uses, coatings, concrete, electrodes etc. Aimo. Best ellis "Extensive testing and characterisation of its three main graphene products, being platelets of 5, 10 and 20 microns in diameter, has enabled the publication of a detailed product specification sheets for use by industry, with confidence as to reliability and repeatability of the quality of the products. By contrast, almost all other graphene producers either don’t make this technical information available, or they are very selective and refer only to their best features as opposed more useful complete characterisation." | ellissj |
