I have total confidence in the management to deliver, imo we are sitting on the cusp of global disruption where big names will fall like dominoes once the potential of our product is realised through the first significant order

SonSonny and Clubbie: I don't often get into admonition mode but I have to agree with
Axo, Megan and even the kindly Woody who have asked you politely (so far) to give it a rest from bothering Neill on Twitter. You both purport to be supporters of VRS, and yet you keep up this incessant blathering. Can't you understand that the poor guy has enough to put up with answering malicious tweets from our enemies, without having to waste his precious management time putting up with you two juveniles? Can't you see that you both come across like a couple of six-year olds going " Me, me ,me Daddy, please notice me".

That's it from me. Both filtered. Just knock it off. Come back when you have something interesting to contribute.

Quick question if Nanene is the only true GnP solution and the others are inferior "graphite" like copies why have UoM signed the deal below with FGR who have a very good GnP solution amongst other things?

------------

FGR and The University of Manchester, acting through Graphene@Manchester have executed a Memorandum of Understanding.

• Under the Memorandum of Understanding FGR will supply graphene materials to researchers at The University of Manchester on favourable terms.

• Both parties acknowledge the importance of a reliable supply of high-quality graphene raw materials to enable the development of downstream applications.

Advanced materials company, First Graphene Limited (“FGR” or “the Company”) (ASX:FGR) is pleased to advise it has executed a Memorandum of Understanding with The University of Manchester under which FGR will provide graphene products for research to be undertaken by researchers at the GEIC (Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre). The MoU will be in effect for three years.

Tim - did you expect NR to be talking to XG about working together? I'm assuming you're glad you've learned something? You're welcome. If superg had posted that you'd be saying thank you, as you should to me. Anyway that's enough, this thread is enough of a mess

"In the latest round of testing Graphene has moved beyond the boundaries of gravity. This wonder material was brought aboard a parabolic flight, where a plane alternated climbing and diving in a regular rhythm, as a way to simulate micro-gravity for brief intervals of about 23 seconds at a time. The graphene aboard endured the environment and performed well.

Professor Andrea Ferrari, Director of the Cambridge Graphene Centre, and Science and Technology Officer and Chair of the Management Panel for the Graphene Flagship, said that one of graphene’s possible uses is space applications, and this is the first time that graphene has been tested in space-like applications.

Graphene was tested for its ability to enhance the performance of satellites’ cooling systems by employing the material’s unique thermal qualities. As Ferrari explained, graphene is being used in what are called loop-heat pipes, which are pumps that move fluid without the need for any mechanical parts. Something very important for space operations because there is no wear and tear.

Dr. Marco Molina, Chief Technical Officer of the Airborne and Space System Division at Leonardo added that by using graphene they will have a more reliable loop heat pipe that can function autonomously in space.

For this study, the researchers coated the the metallic wick, in graphene, the main element of the loop-heat pipe. Graphene’s thermal properties enable improved heat transfer while the porous structure of the material also increases the amount of surface area the liquid is able to come in contact with and it allows the liquid to flow faster through the wick.

The results of this micro-gravity test revealed a heightened performance of the graphene-coated wicks when compared to untreated ones. From here the researchers are working on developing a prototype that uses graphene on a satellite or space station, to be tested in space."

I would have thought asking about collaboration with other producers was interesting to many on here. Axotyl your posts consist of whining about others or whining to suit your agenda for your failed trading attempts, filtered for incessant negativity and consistent irrelevance.

Can't you two grasp the idea that it's not just you and NR having a private dialogue - there are hundreds of others having to suffer this drivel.

Send him an email if you feel you're getting any extra information - it's just cringing.

Totally agree ... CS constantly all over the place. Give the man and the company time. They are building the foundations of what could be a very large enterprise and doing so without the kind of dilution often seen on AIM. This is a multi year hold that will most probably spring a nice few positive surprises along the way ... all in good time. CS calm down and if you can't do that stop constantly watching the day to day share price gyrations and badgering poor NR.

pshevlin - VRS is one of those fantastically rare opportunities to make hopefully a great deal of money *and* do the right thing. EVs, improved battery tech, more efficient solar panels, reduced need for fuel through lighter vehicles via improved composites, filtering of seawater, reduced use of plastics - the list of ways 2D materials can help is virtually endless. Of *course* I hope to get staggeringly wealthy through my investment in VRS (don't we all?), and if it ever happens it will be all the sweeter being able to sleep at night knowing that I'm on the side of the angels, that improvements to technology can (hopefully) save the planet and the species...

So what are you in it for Tommyduck and by how much? Who do you want the share price to rise for, poor people? In the end it doesn't make the slightest difference who is invested here unless they initially got in on a public offering thus providing cash for the company. Most of us didn't manage to do that and whilst the story is interesting and maybe even vital for the planet we shouldn't kid ourselves that we aren't* investing for ourselves, our families and any good cause that we wish to support.

Not sure if it is the mm's or the trader, short v long, been here before and trading it is not an option to anyoneSome ways MM’s entice sellers; Run the stock up with a “tight spread” in a fast market, then “open” up the spread to slow down the buying interest. After it has “cooled off” for a little while lower the offer below the last trade right after a small piece trades on the offer then tighten the spread so that the sellers feel they can take a “quick profit” by “hitting the bid” on the tight spread.

Once the selling starts the MM’s will walk it down quickly by only making small prints on the way down with the tight spread. Another way is by running the stock up in the morning, averaging up their short then use the above technique to walk it down in the afternoon.

Hopefully after doing this for several days, it will demoralize the buyers. The volume will dry up and the sellers will materialize thinking that the game is over.

Contrary to popular opinion, MM usually Do Not Cover in Fast moving markets either Up or Down if they are short. They Short More. They usually try to cover after the frenzy is out of the market. There are many other techniques they use but the above are the most popular.

This technique works about 9 times out of 10 particularly in a BB market. However that is because 9 out of 10 BB stocks are BS. Remember what I said above. Most MM’s don’t have a clue as to the value of a Company until they get trapped. If the Company has solid fundementals and a bright future. Then the stock will do very well. And the activity that caused the situation will prove to even help the future stock activity because it created an audience.”, it's just buy or sell according to your preference.
