Under xs sciences you will see a review of their 'graphene' per man uni, which suggested poor results in a composite test. Therefore, crucially, the quality of graphene versus graphite sees different uses and end markets for each material. 16/10/2018 19:16 | To be fair to XG regardless of any other comments, they got their graphene in a major manufacturer because of measurable benefits. ------- “The breakthrough here is not in the material, but in how we are using it,” said Debbie Mielewski, Ford senior technical leader, sustainability and emerging materials. “We are able to use a very small amount, less than a half percent, to help us achieve significant enhancements in durability, sound resistance and weight reduction – applications that others have not focused on.” Ford has been working with the material since 2014 studying its capabilities and how to use them. Generally, reducing noise inside vehicle cabins means adding more material, but graphene solves that. The graphene is mixed in with foam carriers, and reportedly yields a 17 percent reduction in noise, a 20 percent improvement in mechanical properties and a 30 percent improvement in heat resistance properties, compared to the same foam used without graphene ------- Hopefully with Nanene we would see even more improvements so just need to get into some products. | ![]() dgduncan | |

Don't know how many they bought lower down but seem to have pushed a few hundred thousand into the market over the last couple of days? I would think in a way this is the first time Neill cant be 6 months ahead of us.
