There's no disputing that good quality graphite can improve a range of products. In this case foam. But if you check in the header, mike bremner and part 3, competitors. Under xs sciences you will see a review of their 'graphene' per man uni, which suggested poor results in a composite test. Therefore, crucially, the quality of graphene versus graphite sees different uses and end markets for each material. Thus its unlikely vrs and either/or xs or first graphene, will ever be competitors in the truist sense of the word. Occupying different spaces in the market. Aimo. Dyor. Best ellis

To be fair to XG regardless of any other comments, they got their graphene in a major manufacturer because of measurable benefits.

Ford has been working with the material since 2014 studying its capabilities and how to use them. Generally, reducing noise inside vehicle cabins means adding more material, but graphene solves that. The graphene is mixed in with foam carriers, and reportedly yields a 17 percent reduction in noise, a 20 percent improvement in mechanical properties and a 30 percent improvement in heat resistance properties, compared to the same foam used without graphene

Hopefully with Nanene we would see even more improvements so just need to get into some products.

Clubbie, PLEASE! You are sounding like a stuck record!!! If I see you mentioning orders again I'll tear my hair out!!! We have orders... we all want huge orders... (Neill & the gang probably more than us if only to shut you up!!! ) ...Continuing to repeat the same thing will not make them appear any faster... The board are obviously confident that they will come and I think most of us here are too, so just chillax and give us all a break.

grabster: Spike-1 - In response to XG announcing their deal with Ford, NR did tweet that Versarien would be ready to pick up the pieces -- which I took to mean stepping in when the XG products fall short of what Ford are expecting - or replacing XG once Ford become aware of a better VRS alternative. And hinted in that same tweet that Ford's decision to go with XG might give some other carmaker (presumably using a better grade of graphene) the chance to outdo Ford while Ford are ploughing a poor furrow.

One hurdle to overcome for the China deal is how to stop nanene being used for military purposes. Given that the Chinese army controls huge swathes of industry which do not appear at first to be military, there are bound to be many shades of grey in this. And of course, the army has always acted as a law unto itself, with the tacit winks of the central power.
An interesting conumdrum for the contract writers, perhaps?

David Kerr's tweet this afternoon is really quite important:

pic' of Neill talking on stage and David's comment 'Fascinating discussion with much agreement. XG started working with Ford 3 years ago.'

It's important because +Nanene didn't exist 3 years ago, so unless Ford were already connected to VRS they would have been unaware - like so many others - that VRS were the real deal with real graphene.

Bit of an imbalance on the trading at the moment, the trader /seller having it all their own way at the moment with the mm's opening up the spread so that others would find it difficult to trade.

Don't know how many they bought lower down but seem to have pushed a few hundred thousand into the market over the last couple of days?

There is a positive in that it is being held below the 50 dma, once it closes above then buyers will pile in , the trader will run out at some point.

As predicted the ST damp squib ramp effect has fizzled out. Normal red service resumed today and will continue for the foreseeable future or until another Sunday rag writes a ramp. No sign of the promised collaboration updates and China is being kicked further into the long grass as the vrs garden path gets ever longer.

Who knows if these companies have now improved their product as VRS have from the early days. they are persuading some people to buy it.

I would think in a way this is the first time Neill cant be 6 months ahead of us. As a deal is only done when it is signed, and he can never be sure until they do, he has to wait just like us.
