01/3/2022 23:16 | Not sure why people are holding onto broker targets. These are the brokers and there something very wrong with em! | dhoult12
01/3/2022 22:46 | incredible really who'd have thought they'd be a penny share, just shows you | creditcrunchies

26/2/2022 15:36 | Barclays Reiterates Overweight Rating for TP ICAP Group GBX400 price target | coxsmn
24/2/2022 13:38 | I suspect this is sentiment driven on the back of recent FED 'talking tough' which in reality is probably just the usual 'paper tiger' routine and that could well mean renewed interest in the bond market as more stuff hits the fan. | fabius1
22/2/2022 14:26 | Still going down here I see. Chart is horrendous. | rcturner2
21/2/2022 13:23 | Stock lending is definitely shorting. | j777j
21/2/2022 12:18 | Or thinks they do | bluemango
21/2/2022 12:07 | well all should be revealed in a little over two weeks - I quite agree that something is disconnected here... the quarterly report was basically fine (though lacking on full details) and yet the share has tanked at least 25% since then. Someone knows something. | jezza123
21/2/2022 10:53 | I agree that the stock lending description would seem to suggest shorting. On the plus side for Tcap, increased market volatility in general has historically been of benefit to their earnings. | bluemango
21/2/2022 10:04 | A look at the chart shows that the share price has been dropping like a stone since the RNS announcement. | alex1621
21/2/2022 09:57 | Yes, nothing disclosed. But I would be interested to know what that recent RNS meant? What is stock lending, if not for shorting? | alex1621
21/2/2022 09:51 | Share your watching interest, it's a bit of an enigma. But the share price still looks like having further down to go, particularly if it breaks November's double bottom. Below that, £1.05 would be quarter of it's 2019 peak price. And of course the £1 level is usually and irrationally, a very significant support. | brucie5
21/2/2022 09:48 | No disclosed short positions according to Shorttracker. Most recent was a year ago. | bluemango
21/2/2022 09:46 | Liontrust investment have 10% of the shares. On the RNS it stated "stock lending". I am no expert, but it looks like it's being shorted. I would welcome anyone else's input, as I may be totally misinterpreting that. | alex1621
20/2/2022 20:03 | I just started looking at this one. I can't figure out what is wrong with this company. The accounts look fairly solid and the dividend payout, which is is well covered, is quite generous. Yet, the share price has been falling for a long time. The directors don't seem to be willing to take a decent stake either. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thank you all. Ale. | alotto

17/2/2022 10:33 | This may be a business that is about to wake up to a beautiful sunrise.Research leads me to believe that TCAP are fully aware that the dynamics of global inter dealer brokering are changing. The business that was left following the break up of the company was in decline. That is history. To make money we must attempt to forecast the future.TCAP are investing heavily to build a business with future growth potential. Electronification of Brokering, Crypto Assets, Green Energy Trading, Environmental Finance, Data Analytics and more. The requirement to fund this diversification and expansion initiative has required the issue of equity and the addition of debt with the predictable result of earnings impact and consequantly share price destruction. So you could look at this as a value trap - or - you could look at this as a turnaround. I see potential here for big returns if the business successfully reinvents itself. My current position is exploratory, I will be carefully monitoring the story and results as they are published with a view to making a suitable commitment should the strategy begins to demonstrate signs of progress. | indiestu
