The yield is not 7%.

They paid 4p interim it is not at all clear what the final dividend will be.

Stockopedia are predicting 6p final, which gives 10p total, a yield of 6.5%.

There seems to be some stabilisation (I wouldn't call it support yet) at 150p

My Spreadbet is underwater, I expected a swifter bounce.

Happy to have sold out, still watching.

There's also been some moves in commodities in terms of competitors or even customers launching electronic platforms for oil and such.

Don't know what volume is been done over them, but logically why pay a tp voice broker 1m a year with associated bro fees when a computer can do it for the price of electricity... Also better for compliance than voice etc

How exciting. Cryptic clues.
Ecstasy (know brokers like a bit of coke but maybe the odd E too), energy, EU, Electronic?
7/7 bombings?....

Very happy to have sold out at 204 but am surprised by the continued weakness...wonder if the present gas rises have hit some clients....
The uptick in volatility in recent days should have helped....

The E is the issue I suspect. Also the problem of 7/7.

So the slide continues. Looks like we're headed for 150p. Forward P/E is just 7.6x. This is nuts. Has to be taken out at this price. Bargain territory now.

Dividend effect in progress. Then they’ll exit pdq after booking their entitlement..

I topped up recently. Seems much too cheap and Liquidnet is quality apparently (so I am assured, by those who know)

About 25 per cent of their business is oil and gas trading - recent volatility must be good for them?

Although that small purchase shows they've not had any approaches thus far.

Nice to see another director buying. A takeover approach wouldn’t surprise me at the current market valuation- nor a merger proposition. Liquidnet would be almost a freebie.

The chart is terrible, the way the share price is moving away from a falling 200 moving average is evidence of a continued downtrend.

People talking about this as a recovery play are well ahead of themselves. It hasn't reached the bottom yet.

Stockopedia's forecasts for TCAP normalised eps are:

2021 22.1p
2022 26.3p

And their dividend forecasts are:

2021 10.7p
2022 12.6p

It's got really bad metrics on Stocko now though it's basically flagged as adventurous and a recovery play as future EPS looks pretty bleak. TCAP qualifies for Dreman Low Price to Book Screen(Value Investing). If you look at the performance of that screen it's pretty hit and miss over 3-5 years because this is now in the deep value bag of pop or flop
