23/3/2022 15:11 | Maybe there is a takeover bid rumour because this has gone up a lot very quickly | creditcrunchies
23/3/2022 14:20 | market down - this is up - did someone put happy pills in my coffee again? | jezza123
23/3/2022 14:09 | Somebody is buying big that's for sure it's gone from 111 to 146 in a couple of days | creditcrunchies
23/3/2022 13:24 | So what news has leaked? This rise is out of the ordinary. Now back above the recent (98.3% subscribed for) Open Offer price. | bluemango
23/3/2022 12:18 | The person I speak to who works at a high level advising merchant banks in the City has had meetings with people from Liquidnet prior to the takeover. He was impressed. His comment was that as a successful fintech business Liquidnet would be highly-rated on a standalone basis as a "growth" enterprise. He commented also it could possibly cause tension with some banks, as they have sell-side operations which would be in competition with Liquidnet, while doing more conventional broking business with TCAP. It seems odd to me the high-rating which should be attributed to Liquidnet, doesn't seem to be reflected in the TCAP share price. (But then I know next to nothing about what goes on in the City) | lindowcross
23/3/2022 11:22 | Still going up! Always listen to the negative posts and how they are posted. Long way to go but taking profits. | swinsco
22/3/2022 18:52 | ...or that overhang has finally cleared. | jezza123
22/3/2022 18:33 | Probably just a short squeeze they can look very bullish when you got exhaustion on weeks of constant sells | creditcrunchies
22/3/2022 16:51 | A bull trap. A powerful rally during a bear market. Shall we withhold judgement until Friday. | indiestu

18/3/2022 14:18 | Looking better. Tcap seem to have weathered the storm of the negative posters. | swinsco
18/3/2022 07:49 | Cover here is 2x excluding 1off items. There are few companies offering 2x dividend cover. | coxsmn
17/3/2022 12:39 | Coxsm the point was that real dividend cover and therefore sustainability is based on what you actually earn. They can have whatever dividend policy they want assuming they have the reserves but ultimately it becomes unstainable at some point if you don't have the actual earnings (not just what the FD picks as random adjusted earnings) | dhoult12
17/3/2022 11:34 | I've bought in here several times in the last week. The suggestion that TCAP are doing a Robert Maxwell and robbing their pensioners is a slur. The defined benefit scheme is being wound up and all payments due to pensioners are being made. | cjohn
17/3/2022 11:01 | "The Board recommends a final dividend per share of 5.5 pence, bringing the total full year dividend to 9.5 pence per share, in line with our dividend policy of 2 times cover on adjusted post-tax earnings." | coxsmn |
