26/11/2021 21:21 | there's your answer it does go even lower when the market corrects | creditcrunchies
22/11/2021 07:47 | Quarterly figures do not normally assess profit. That’s normal. Just look at the rns, it was the same the year before. Liq is meant to improve margins in the end. Do they need redundancies to achieve this? | sick of it
22/11/2021 07:30 | Fact is no-one knows for sure. Wider market volatility in coming months should boost revenues, plus the market needs to see more evidence of synergies and benefits to the business from the LiquidNet acquisition. Yes this company is very much out of favour currently but obviously that can change. | bluemango
22/11/2021 06:47 | lol sick of it I just tell it how I see it. This is a bulletin board for opinions, ignore or consider as you see fit. There is a natural tendency to assume that a falling share price will rebound. It might not happen here. It is worth revisiting what actually happened to TCAP. The last set of interim results saw margin collapse and a swing to a loss. The Q3 results were all about revenue, but no mention of profit, I wonder why? This company requires creative accounting to make its figures look good. | rcturner2
22/11/2021 01:03 | The problem we've got is US indices are in extreme bubble territory, this could keep on extending but I'm seeing metrics that are a mirror image of the 1999 panic buying. Ask yourself why keep buying higher risk inflated stocks giving a yield (S&P) of 1.1 to 1.26% when lower risk shorter term US treasuries like the 5yr are oscillating between 1.2 to 1.30% yield. I just gotta hunch we're about to correct soon, we could get a deep dip early December then another rally into Jan/Feb but a bigger one looks on the cards. | creditcrunchies
21/11/2021 17:55 | thank you RC for being the expert. We all need you, thank you very much | sick of it
21/11/2021 17:40 | RC, indeed. But, there is a descending wedge that has formed on the weekly which is coming to a decision point. I would think vol will pick up in which case it shoud break out to the upside, but do expect a retest after it does, unless we have a complete S&P capitulation (which is possible). I have this at around 1.40 as a kind of hedge. Sure it's underwater, but not as much as the VILX or similar would be. Also have Dutch company FLOW which is a market marker and naturally long volatility. That too is dragging but is there for insurance. A kind of set and forget until stuff hits the fan... | quigonjin
21/11/2021 09:09 | The share price was 159p when I posted this: RCTurner216 Sep '21 - 08:58 - 457 of 492 Edit 0 0 0 The chart is terrible, the way the share price is moving away from a falling 200 moving average is evidence of a continued downtrend. People talking about this as a recovery play are well ahead of themselves. It hasn't reached the bottom yet. | rcturner2
21/11/2021 08:39 | Still a very poor chart here, there is no evidence that this has bottomed yet. | rcturner2
21/11/2021 00:14 | This is a massive inflation play - bought in recently- a little too early but have averaged down. Once interest rates start going up the volatility will seriously boost trading activity | janhar
20/11/2021 22:28 | you do wonder what will happen here if the indices start a correction I'd rather wait and see tbh | creditcrunchies
19/11/2021 07:52 | Bluenango- I fully agree with that. Especially knowing last time there was massive volume increase of over 500% as it bounced, it hit 6.6m from 1.2n shares. | sick of it
18/11/2021 19:10 | Double bottom would be nice. RSI hovering under 30, oversold territory. | bluemango
18/11/2021 17:24 | brought into this stock again after many yrs solid business giid div and capital upside strong bal sheet | mrthomas
10/11/2021 20:49 | So they (EU) have woken up and smelled the coffee.. | davwal
10/11/2021 19:30 | could this be the reason for the tick up? | farrugia
10/11/2021 19:26 | So long as there’s not a peanuts offer incoming..! | davwal
10/11/2021 13:17 | what happened did a trainee hit the wrong button? | creditcrunchies
10/11/2021 13:10 | some signs of life? volume today seems healthy | farrugia
05/11/2021 15:02 | Fair enough. I assume you read the JP Morgan note, which was really about a doubling of the PE to reflect its sector. | brucie5
05/11/2021 14:10 | RMG is not the sort of company I go for as the margin is very low historically, 2 or 3 %. I don't like low margin buinesses. To be honest at the moment there aren't a lot of shares I like. I have sold a few and mostly reinvested in investment trusts. | rcturner2
05/11/2021 09:28 | Yes, you did well to cut early. Have you noticed RMG btw? There was a new note out. Small discussion on that bb., but it may have started to turn back up. good value. | brucie5
04/11/2021 16:15 | I dunno, I'm just glad I got out of this one when I did. The chart is awful and seems to be getting worse. There is no recorded short position as far as I can tell. The market is saying something about the company that is not yet fully known I think. | rcturner2
04/11/2021 09:25 | RC - capitulation in yet? | brucie5
02/11/2021 21:23 | I was going to post the same thing earlier. It looks like a large seller exiting the stock. | rcturner2 |
