28/11/2018 09:49 | Our new disclosed shorting friend Marshall Wace has increased his short by 0.1% to 0.8% as of the 23rd November. So total declared shorts now stand at 2.54%. Maybe they be gently roasted in hell by a sudden jump to an 80p share price to the sounds of Mumford and Sons (their lead guitar is Winston Marshall the son of the boss of Marshall Wace!) | davidblack
28/11/2018 09:45 | Is there anyone on here who believes that the reason the Govt are now relaxed on the so called deficit staying in the GBP20b range is because over the next 10 years they are expecting substantial tax receipts from the Shelf? I recall the NS oil receipts of the 80s made Thatchers managed decline of UK manufacturing a lot less painful than it would have been without them. Seriously they were obsessing with balancing the books almost as an ideology since inheriting what they did in 2010 and now appear happy to stay at deficit of 20-25b in each tax year from now to 2023/24 Just a thought..stranger things have happened | steptoes yard
28/11/2018 09:36 | Nice rise so far today. Are there really people out there who are that surprised that the AM has arrived in Rotterdam, and not either sunk or got misdirected up the River Don to Rotherham? | greyingsurfer
28/11/2018 09:21 | Get them while they are cheap keep an eye on the shorts a lot to close out before the AM arrives on site. | blueclyde

28/11/2018 07:56 | can we have 45p at noon today? thank you | the patient investor
28/11/2018 07:40 | 17000 bopd is just over $1 million a day with oil @$60, $360 million pa obviously less production costs but that's some turnover for a listed company currently capitalized at just $850 million, anticipating a run back up to 60p maybe 70 when the AM is on station then if the well flows as hoped for who knows? 120 to 200p? | fatnacker
27/11/2018 21:36 | A quick search shows Glen Lyon was a £4B project (as per It would be a number of years of cashflow to allow for a project of this magnitude. HUR will be sold once the concept is (hopefully) proved. | dcarn
27/11/2018 21:17 | A question that came into my head after reading the BP Clair Quad 204 release last week was that they are using the Glen Lyon FPSO, as I think the sole way, of off loading the oil at 130,000 barrels a day; which makes the AZ at 17,000 look a lot smaller! So the question is could Hurricane go it alone by electing for a Glen Lyon solution once the cashflow from the AZ are in place? That might enable us to stay out of the clutches of a major for a while longer? Or is the economics of the nearby pipe network the better solution? | davidblack
27/11/2018 20:03 | Thanks for the video when you see the scale of the platforms and the fact they say one of their biggest assets then you realise the world class asset HUR has on its hands potentially. If this comes off we are going to win big. | blueclyde
27/11/2018 18:26 | Cheers Bob | gibso6767
27/11/2018 18:18 | Wind speed in Lerwick at the minute according to BBC weather is a mere 42mph. Best stay in Rotterdam for a day or so I think? | davidblack |
